I forgot to post this chapter days ago because I've been busy watching Phan videos I'm sorry.

"I mean, I've only ever been here just this one time during a school trip and that was years ago." I explained as Vic asked me about this amusement park whilest he parked the car, all of us getting out of the vehicle once he turned off the engine. Once again, he volunteered on driving us here even though my mother insisted on doing so. He is basically spoiling all three of us right now and I have to say, I am not complaining at all. I kind of like being spoiled every once in a while.

"Yeah, because you're a sore loser!" Kayla shot, raising a high-five at Vic's direction. Of course the man went and gave the girl a high-five. I pinched her nose teasingly as a response and she swatted my hand away as I grabbed my backpack and closed the car door, checking if we grabbed everything that we needed for the day.

"All set?" Vic asked as he unfolded his sunglasses and wore it stylishly and just- okay, it's a simple black Ray ban sunglasses but it honestly looks good on him. We all nodded at him and he offered a toothy smile. I was about to walk beside him but my sister beat me to it as she practically pushed me away and walked beside Vic, her left arm finding its way around Vic's right one. He seemed startled at first at her childish gesture but he just smiled at her and took off his snapback, placing it on my sister's head instead. She giggled at the action and started conversing with him, like they've been pals for years. I can't help but to roll my eyes at her. Typical Kayla, always so spoiled.

"Are you sure it's okay with Victor? I mean, I don't want him to think that we're-"

"Mom, stop stressing about it, alright? I made a deal with him, told him that we'll split everything. Just relax and have fun, okay?" I reassured her and slung my arm around her shoulder reassuringly.

"That's the thing, K. I should be the one paying for everything. You shouldn't be the one spending money for us." She said and I frowned at her.

"Mom, please. I'm alright. I'm not in high school anymore. I make my own money whenever I can, I've got jobs in uni, and all is good. Let's not talk about money and just have fun, 'kay?" She still looked skeptical but nodded, nonetheless. "Besides, looks like Kayla is already having the time of her life." I commented as I pointed at the direction of Vic and Kayla, seeing as they are standing in front of a booth, a huge cup of slushie occupying my sister's right hand as her other arm remained looped with Vic's.

"She seems so fond of Vic. Too bad he's way older than her." My mom commented and I looked at her in shock.

"Mom, she's a child. Even if Vic is her age, you shouldn't even be thinking about her being with a boy anytime soon." I scolded as if our roles are reversed.

She laughed at me, shaking her head. "Oh Kellin, don't get all jealous of your sister. Besides, it's okay if she gets a boyfriend, as long as he's nice and that his intentions are good." She explained further, making my eyebrows knit together.

"I'm not jealous of her, why would I get jealous?" I retaliated, sounding all-too defensive even though I didn't really mean to sound that way. Wow, what is up with me? "For all you know, I might be dating someone in California."

"Wouldn't be surprised, you're good looking and smart. Just like your mom." She said with a proud smile and I laughed at her. My family is basically ridiculous. "In all seriousness, I really wouldn't mind." She added on, nodding her head as we continued walking, trying to catch up on Vic and Kayla seeing as she's been dragging him from booth to booth.

"I wouldn't, too. I mean, of course the guy would have to go through me before he could date Kayla but-"

"No, I mean, I wouldn't mind if you were to date him." My mom cleared out and I swear I almost choked on air because of her words.

"Um, what?"

"He's a nice guy, very genuine and pure at heart. A keeper, if you ask me." She said and my face contorted at her words. What is she on about? Where are these words coming from, really?

"Who are we talking about exactly, mom?" I said, shaking my head to try to clear out my head and process what she's trying to throw at me. Is my mother really trying to imply what I think she's trying to imply? This is beyond ridiculous! Oh gosh, I bet she thinks Vic and I are.. a thing. Jesus Christ.

"Vic, who else?" She said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world and I swear she just rolled her eyes at me.

"I- Mom, I'm not gay. Why are you even saying this stuff?" I stressed my words, making them loud and clear enough for her but she just smiled, shrugging her shoulders without a care.

"I'm just saying, K. He's a great guy and I think he's a keeper, may it be as just a friend or something more than just a friend."

"Mom, please." I rolled my eyes at her and laughed. Where did she even get the idea of me ever going to be liking guys? I mean, okay, Vic is a nice guy but, really? Why is she suddenly giving me this weird pep talk?

"And just because you're not gay doesn't mean you're not capable of liking a guy. Don't be so defensive." She said and laughed rather loudly and I slapped my hand over her mouth as Vic and Kayla looked over to our direction. I shrugged my shoulders at them and signaled for them to carry on with whatever it is that they were doing.

"I don't get your logic sometimes, mom. Of course if a guy is attracted to a guy, he's basically gay.. right?"

"Does it matter? Can't it be just a person liking another person?" And that question sat at the top of my head for the rest of the day.

Just mere minutes ago, I was telling my mom to just enjoy and forget about other stuff but now, after five hours of riding rides, countless candies and handful of photos, I couldn't help but to still be stressing out over her question. I mean, sure I'm not trying to contemplate whether I have feelings for Vic or not because clearly, I do not suppress any sort of romantic feelings towards the guy but that doesn't stop me from thinking if my mom's question and words are actually right and reasonable. Clearly she's not being logical.
