In the beginning was the one

    who is called the Word.

The Word was with God

    and was truly God.

From the very beginning

    the Word was with God.

 And with this Word,

    God created all things.

Nothing was made

    without the Word.

Everything that was created

and his life gave light

    to everyone.

The light keeps shining

    in the dark,

and darkness has never

    put it out.

The Word became flesh and dwells with us. The word came down to the world he created, but his own nation did not accept him. Yet, to those who accepted him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become a children of  the Most High GOD. He was sent into the world, to give life to the dead.

My name is John, one of the Word's disciple. And I'm here to tell you a story, a story of how Jesus enters Jeusalem.

=========================================================

We raelly had a lot of good times with Jesus. We saw how he do a lot of miracles, I saw how he feeds the five thousand people using a twon fish and five loaves of bread. We also saw how Jesus resurected Lazarus. And how a greedy tax collector come into repentance because of him.

Now we are coming at the heart of power. We are now near Jerusalem, the capital of GOD's nation Isarael. But before we enter the gates of Jerusalem, Jesus first comammanded Peter to get a Donkey. Jesus gave Peter an instruction on how he can get it.

We all know that entering on Jerusalem is really a bad idea. The priest has the hot eye for Rabbi, and I'm afraid that they want him dead. We tried to reason with Jesus saying things like, "Its not a good idea", "Maybe it's not the best time." But he always says that, there is no best time aside from now.

"This is not a good idea." Thomas whispered.

"Yes you are right." Bartholomew said. The truth is, that is also the thought thats running on my head. It's really not a good idea. But, I know Jesus, he knows what he's doing. But as went near the gate, I felt that something wrong will really happen.

"Hey look what I got!" Peter said. He has a donkey just as Rabbi commanded.

Jesus got up on the donkey then Peter guided it as we enter the gaes of Jerusalem. As we enter, we are welcomed by a huge cheering crowd. They are all holding a branches of palm tree, then Bart said "Whoah! this is what the prophet Zechariah said!" Then I tried to remember it , but I failed so Bart said, "John, Zechariah said; "Jerusalem, dont fear. See your King coming victorious, humble and riding on a donkey.".

Now all my fears are gone. Maybe I'm just over thinking. Perhaps today will going to be a great day....But, as we walk we saw some Roman guards. They are looking at every move that Jesus's make. But I will not mind it. Today is a great day! The crowd is cheering, "Hossana to the Son of David!" and "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD!". They are laying down the palm branches for Jesus. Just like an entrance for a coming King.

After our entrance, Jesus and us went to the temple of Jerusalem. The Temple is the holiest place on our land. It is the house of GOD, and so we must respect it. But as we enter the templecourt, we saw how the people disrespect it. It looks more like a market than a temple. People are here selling animals for sacrifices and overpricing there products. Shocks! Because of this I remembered something that happened a year ago. I looked at the face of Rabbi, then I saw that.....shocks, this is bad. Rabbi looks very angry.

Few more seconds rushed at the vendors. He turned over their tables and scattered there money. Jesus yelled. "HOW DARE YOU TURN MY FATHERS HOUSE INTO A MARKET!"

"What are you doing!" the vendors said. "MAN HE IS MAD! THIS ONE IS CRAZY!"

"STOP HIM!"

Peter, tried to stop Jesus, he hold Jesus arms and said, "Rabbi, stop please.." Jesus then stopped and looked at Peter, then he said "Isn't it written?" Jesus then turned on the crowd and said, "MY HOUSE SHOULD BE A HOUSE OF PRAYER!" Jesus looks really pissed. "BUT YOU MADE IT INTO A DENS OF THIEVES!" That very moment I saw how mad the Priests are to Jesus. The same day we head back to Bethany, Jesus made it our homebase. We traveled there to Jerusalem everyday.

Day after day, the Priests and Jesus are always having an argument. They are always asking Rabbis a lot of questions. But what really stirred up an emotion is when Jesus said that he will destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days. However, every questions that the Priests throws at Jesus are always heading back to them. Jesus won every argument that the Priests started.

One day Jesus is teaching the crowd. Jesus said, "Children, do everything that the priest are teaching. But dont do what they do." Jesus said as he speaks to the crowd. "For they do not do what they preach!" Then a Pharisee went to Jesus and said, "How dare you said that!" Said the Pharisee. "We are holy! We are GOD's chosen Priest!"

"Holy?" Jesus replied. "You pray repetitive prayers, you are like mummies. You wear this facade of neatness to hide your decaying flesh inside. Just like what they do to mummies." Jesus then looked straight at the eyes of the Pharisee and said, "Your a Hypocrite." Awww...that hurts men.

As we head back to Bethany, I pondered the things that I heard from Rabbi earlier. I heard one of the conversation he had on a teacher of the law.

"What is the most important law?" The teacher of the law asked.

"The most important one says, "People of Israel, you only have one GOD, so love HIM with all your heart, mind, strenght and soul." Jesus replied, "And the second one is like this, "Love your neighbors as much as you love yourself."

Jesus also warns us to be alert, that a lot of people will claim to be him. That many will use his name to fool other people. He said, whatever happens to us, GOD will always be with us, and that we should continue preaching the Gospel(Good News). Well when it comes to preaching, I dont think I'm that good. Jesus never taught us how to preach, but what he teaches us is how to pray. Jesus said that we should not use repetitive words for it will just make us looks like a babbling fools. He said when we pray, we should go to our room where only GOD can see us, we should lock the doors and close the windows. Does this mean when we pray, we should close all our senses and focus on GOD alone?

Jesus taught us that when we pray it should be like this one, that we should follow this pattern, he said.

"OUR FATHER, MAY YOUR HOLLY NAME BE HONORED AND LIFTED HIGH. MAY YOUR KINGDOM COME, AND YOUR WILL BE DONE AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD AND FORGIVE OUR SINS, THE WAY WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO SINS AGAINTS US. KEEP US FROM FALLING TO SINS WHEN WE ARE TEMPTED, AND SAVE US FROM THE EVIL ONE....AMEN."

As we are heading back to Bethany, Jesus also mentioned his inevitable death. That is the fourth time that he said that. I...I can't imagine my life without Jesus. Jesus is my life, without him I don't know if I can continue.
