Chapter one

When the Wind, is your enemy

And, the Rain is your saviour

And your scared of the dark

And your frightened of your own shadow

Just remember that, I was the one you banished

My broken wings, can't fly away

So I was made to stay

But your broken smile, matches my broken wings

Maybe we're not as bad as we are thought to be.~Ms B(best teacher ever ;) )

"Bonnie? Over here? Bonnie? Open the stupid door, Bon Bon open the door!" My best friend Stacey bellowed from behind my front door. "Ergh, Stace, you know what time it is?"I groaned opening the door for her.

"No, why what time is it?" She walked into our entrance, closing the door behind her.

"I don't know myself , I was asking you. Ergh where's Milly? She can't be late for school!" I complained, combing my fingers through my curly blonde hair. "I'm here dwressed and weady," my little sister Milly's voice came from behind me. I turned, and looked at my 4 year old sister, who was standing on the last step of the stairs. She had her thumb in her mouth sucking it. She couldn't be any more the same as me, she looked like mum a lot and just a bit like dad, and I did too. Her curly dirty blonde hair was in to pigtails which was bone straight. She got her face features from our mother and her hair colour She had big greens eyes and her face was in a frown.

"Bon Bon not gowin' school?" She asked, and my heart melted in my chest. She didn't call me Bonnie or Ebony like everyone else, she called me Bon Bon, which was because she spent to much time with Stacey.

"Yeah, sweet cheeks I am, I just have to find my uniform. Stacey will help you get dressed!" I said tilting my head looking at her uniform.

Her blue cardigan was inside out and she had two odd socks. And her school polo was underneath her a her night shirt.

"Stacey!" Milly squealed, running to Stacey arms.

"Aww chica, how I've missed you! Quick let's see who can get to you room first!" Stacey says running up the stairs after Milly. I listened to their laughter, while they were running around upstairs, laughing myself.

Mum was probably pissed off. But I couldn't give two fucks.

I went into the kitchen getting my uniform of the ironing board, and go to the living cabinet to get my straightners out.

30 minutes later, when my hair looked presentable enough for school and my face didn't look so bad, I called Stacey to bring down Milly so I could drop her off the school. "Hey, dad said we could ring him when we wanted to get a lift to school!" Stacey said grabbing a sandwich, from the kitchen island. "Bon Bon feed fishes!" Milly voice echoed of the walls of the kitchen. "I have sweet checks!" I lifted her, into a hug. She giggled which made my smile widen. I look at her, she look better, her uniform was on correct and her hair was in a french plate down to her shoulders. I putted her back on the ground. "Quick eat a sandwich I made you a crisp butty." I said.

"I'm just gonna get dressed now," I said to Stacey. "Keep an eye on Milly for me!" I said rushing out the door, into the dining room. I looked down at my uniform.

My jumper and blazer were black with the school crest on the corner, which was a thorn crown and a cross in the middle with SACRED HEART of JESUS written around it. My skirt was (slut size) small. And came to mid-thigh, I wore black tights underneath, and my brown (weird) shoes. 5 minutes later with my uniform on, and shoes, I stare at my self in the mirror, my blonde hair was straight, past my shoulders, my blue eyes big with worry(about life, like always), I had an okay, face. And I'm not boasting but I had all my curves in the right place. I walk out to see Milly and Stacey, at the sink washing the sandwich plate. I looked at them without interrupting, leaning against the door frame. I'd known Stacey for at least a year, you know when you meet someone and you just click? Well that was us, we just clicked. When I started school, I wasn't the blonde popular bimbo I used to be, no I was more mature and grown-up thanks to my Dads death. Stacey was one of those laughs-at-their-own-jokes-when-it-is-not-funny type of person which made it easy to get on with her. Her mum was spanish and her dad was from Manchester, her parents met when they went to college, they'd said it was love at first sight, they got married two months after they started dating and 18 years later and plus a 15 year old daughter later, they we're the happiest and longest married couple knew. Stacey got most of her mother features from her mum, her skin was a nude colour and her hair was close to black, which was normally in a ponytail or curled up, she had brown eyes and her mouth was perfect pink and plush, the only thing that she hated about herself was that she was her body was as straight as a ruler(her words not mine), which meant not many guys would like her, even though every guy who knew her, lusted after her. Including Devlin, the guy who she fancied but thought was gay(who isn't!). But when I walked in through the doors of my new school for the first time, she told me to 'stop holding your head higher like you better then anybody else, we're all fucked up somehow' them words made me, admire and look up to Stace.

"Hey, guy hate to burst your bubble and all, but can we hurry, 'cause 'lil Milly here gonna be late!" I said, startling the two girls. Milly school was down the road from our house, so I could drop her off, but Me and Stacey's school was 10 minutes away from here by car. And we were already late by 6 minutes.

"Stacey, call your dad to pick us up at Milly's school? Okay?" I said grabbing my bag from the the coat hanger.

"Yeah sure, whatever you want." She said grinning, going upstairs to retrieve her bags. But only to return seconds later with her bag and a frown her face.

"Your mums up! We should get going." She says quickly, typing into her phone probably to text her dad. She shoves the phone into her pocket and then calls out Milly's name and bringing her outside.

"Mum, I'm dropping off Milly call me if you need anything!" I shout up to the stairs, running out the front door before she can reply.

As I got into Milly's dad car, I feel eyes on me. I turned to see, someone sitting on a bench staring at me. Their face was cover by a hat and scarf. Paedophile. My mind screamed at me. But I ignored and continued to stare at the person, Until Stacey's voice inturrepted me.

"Hey, hurry up, we're already late as it is!" She said, pushing me into the back of the car.
