Chapter two
I don't mind, no I don't mind, I don't mind the rain.
The simple things and subtleties they always stay the same.
I don't mind, that I don't mind, no I don't mind the rain.
Like a widow's heart
We fall apart.
But never fade away. ~ Charlie Scene (Hollywood undead)

I sat there and held and watched as my bestfriend cried. Her mum and dad decided, they wanted a divorce. No one knew it was coming, not me, not Stacey or anyone else for that matter. They never argued, never shouted. I couldn't tell why the split up.
"..I just don't kno-," she sobbed again. "Mami said, it was going to happen sooner or later and dad just agreed. I'm such a bad daughter if I didn't realise this." she hiccuped. She cried more into my shoulder.
We were sitting on a bench in the park (as in nature, not a kid park) near our school, we bunk 5th lesson because Stacey was so close to breaking in to a waterworks and she would never forgive me, if people saw her like that.
"She seeing someone already, and Dad said it was okay, because he was too!"She sobbed harder. I held on tighter to her, Stacey didn't need this, espicially being her final year when she has to take her final gcse's and this was going to distract her.
"Babe, this ain't your fault, this is your parents marriage, they love each other very much, just watch they'll have it sorted before you know it!" I lied. I always loved her parents, because they we're very straight to the point serious people, and this is serious!
We sat in peace and quiet for about 30 minutes before someone came up to our bench.
"Is she okay?" Asked a lady voice. I nodded, keeping Stace tucked into my sholder.
"She fine, thanks." I looked up to see an aged lady, standing infront of me, grinning at Stacey.
"Darling," she rolls her tongue on the word. "If she was okay, she wouldn't be crying, now would she?" She said, tilting her head. She licked her lips, like Stacey was some main course, ready to be eaten.
"Stacey I think we should get back to school!" I said loud enough for the lady to hear me. Stacey pulled away and turned to look at the old women. I watch as she swallowed.
"Yeah, I think we've skipped enough lessons!" Stacey said getting up, she wiped her eyes with her sleves and turns to the lady.
"Thanks for your consern but as you can see I am fine now, and I have to go back to school!" She picked up her school bag and slinged it across her shoulder.
"And why would you do that? Your school will be over in about 10 minutes!" She said, now her eyes on me.
"Well, intresting! I'd never think I've seen a soul like yours, your friend here, her soul is pure, but she isn't a virgin. Unlike you, your soul is pure and a virgin, and also claimed by a fallen. I wonder what's so special?"She said, as she looked me up and I tooked that as our cue to leave crazy grayed hair mad women alone!
"Come on now!" I screeched at Stacey. I picked up my bag and grabbed her hand heading towards our school. When we where atleast a few metres from school I stopped and let go off Stacey's hand.
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!?" She cried out. Looking at me like I had the answers.
"Don't look at me like I know. She was one hundred percent crazy!" I said, looking at the darkening sky.
