It struck five on the clock. Kshitij and Zaid had been beating Aarush’s door for a while. He was too busy sleeping. Waking up half asleep and frustrated he started abusing before opening the door.
“What the hell! What were you doing?” Zaid spoke with different weird expressions stacked on his face.
“I was sleeping. Buzz off.” Aarush replied in sheepish tone and went back to bed.
“Oye Fat Factory! Wake up! It’s snacks time. We have Samosa today.” Kshitij spoke while pulling off Aarush’s sheet and kicking on his ass
Finally, Aarush got time and he woke up. Covering his ass with jeans and his male breasts with a black tee, he followed both of them to canteen.
“So how was your exam?” Zaid asked while sipping coffee.
“Math was good. Phyyyy… they took my physics paper. My phone rang up. Don’t know from where. Unknown number.” Aarush replied with a heavy heart. He really was disturbed with all this matter.
“Err.. why did you took your phone to class room? You should’ve kept that in bag.” Kshitij spoke.
“I forgot.” Zaid answered in a low voice.
“Who was the one to call you? Where is your phone?”
“With my girlfriend…” Aarush fumed.
“… obviously they took it. They said I’ve to write a letter to the dean and principal. They would be taking thousand bucks fine.”
“Why didn’t you do that today?”
“I felt like sleeping was the best option. I was already frustrated.”
“So tomorrow after exam you’re going to collect your phone?”
“And first I’ll do is check that who the f**k called me.” Aarush sipped his coffee. He placed the cup hard on the table.
“Let’s go. We’ve to study lots for tomorrow.” Zaid stood up and with him other two did the same.
The next day, Aarush wrote a letter, paid thousand bucks and got his phone back. Pressing the power on button hard, he switched on the phone. Messages that didn’t deliver yesterday started popping up on his screen. Ignoring every message, he opened call logs. Pressed the green button.
“Hello?” Aarush spoke.
“Hello…” A sweet female owned the voice.
“…Aarush? This is Shruti here. That’s my new number. Why didn’t you pick up my call yesterday and didn’t reply to any of messages….” She started speaking and there was no end to that.
“Hang on.. hang on. It’s a long story. Anyways why did you call me yesterday?” Aarush finally put a end to her voice.
“You didn’t check out your messages? Well, I am coming to Bangalore.” There was a zeal in her voice when she spoke the last sentence.
Aarush obviously was startled.
“Oh.. When? And with whom?”
“This Saturday. After 4 days. I am coming with my boyfriend and my friends.” She had still maintained that zeal in her voice. On the other hand, Aarush seemed to lose every intensity in him.
Shruti coming to Bangalore was not really expected by him.
“Text me when you reach here. And tell me your hotel name and the address. I’ll come and see you there. I got to go right now. Exams going on. So busy. Bye.” He wanted to end this call as soon as possible.
