"Cheollie?...when are you coming?"
I heard Jeonghan's voice in the other line "yeah...im just getting ready.." I replied "alright...take care on the way here" he said and i chuckled "of course I will..right, see you later" I replied and hung up the phone. I bit my lip as a light blush spread across my cheeks. Ive always had a crush on Jeonghan, My best friend ever since we were kids. It breaks my heart that we cant be together....

I chuckled before inserting my phone inside my pocket and wearing my coat and putting in my shoes. I grabbed my stuff and left my house. As i was walking, the cold breeze made my hair sway to where the wind was going. I wanted to look good infront of Jeonghan. As soon as i reached my car, i entered and started the engine. While waiting, I took out my phone and unlocked it, a picture of Jeonghan and me appeared on the lock screen. I stared at it for a few seconds, making me smile.

Then I remembered why i cant be with Jeonghan....the taught of that made my heart sink "fucking 17 days...." I mumbled and cursed under my breath, i let out a big sigh. Suddenly, my phone buzzed 'a message from Hannie' It said. I tapped on it

'Bring food on the way over...'

I smiled and chuckled "aish..Jeonghan...always getting hungry." I mumbled and buckled my seatbelt and started driving to a near by restaurant.

*time skip*

I got the food and i was now walking to Jeonghan's room. As i reached there, I knocked on the door "come in..." A faint voice was heard from behind the door. I slowly opened the door and went inside, quietly closing the door behind me.

"Hey Hannie...." I said and smiled "oh...cheollie...you came.." He replied "did you take your medicines yet?" I asked "the nurses have been busy lately..." He replied

"So, how are you feeling?" I asked as i sat down beside him on the hospital bed "im not able to walk....i wish i can....." He mumbled as tears statted forming in the corner of his eyes "i wanna know how it feels like to be...free..." He said in a soft voice "i wanna spend some time with you....but youve been so busy with other clients...you dont have time to take care of me..." He whimpered softly

"Hey..dont cry..im always here for you Jeonghan.. I even ditch my working hours just to see how youre doing....I wanna hang out with you but....time flies so fast...that we have to work hard just to achieve our dreams.." I whispered as I gently and softly stroked his cheek "its lucky for you....you can complete your dreams....I dont know how many days left until I move on..." He whimpered and sniffed

"Hannie...lets not talk about that..its not yet time...." I whispered "but soon it will be...." He said with a soft voice

"Seventeen days more....." I whispered as I tried to hold my tears back. "Cheollie......why am i like this?....did I deserve this?..." Hs asked "Hannie....some people are just like you...they push them selves just so they can survive...they would do anything just so they wont leave this world just yet....but sometimes....you have to face the reality.." I replied as a tear rolled down my face.

There was a moment of silence, but then I sniffed , I wiped away my tear and sighed "Hannie...I brought food..." i said "oh....finally...Im so hungry..."he said and I chuckled. I stood and grabbed the container with food in it "its egg tarts.." I said and he smiled "you know me so well..." He said and i chuckled "what can i say? Youre my best friend.." I said and he smiled and giggled

'I hope we can be more than just best friends...' I said to myself. I quickly adjusted the bed so that Jeonghan could sit up. "I cant really move my hands..." He said "dont worry....ill feed you.." I said and he smiled. I grabbed one of the egg tarts and brought it up close to Jeonghan's mouth. He slowly took a bite of it.

I watched as he munched the food slowly as he looked down with a bright blush on his face....it maybe the last time ill see him blush..

As i was about to feed him, there was a knock on the door. I quickly stood up and placed the container on the bed. I fixed my coat "umm..you may come in.." I said and the door opened.

"Oh, Doctor Seungcheol..what brings you here?" A nurse asked as she held the tray of medicine in her hands, she softly kicked the dokr with her foot "I was just checking up on Jeonghan here." I replied "oh okay..i brought his medicine here since the other nurses were busy" she said and i smiled "thats nice of you, Nayeon.." I said and she smiled.

She tucked a strand of her haid behind her ear before leaving the room. "She seems intrested in you.." Jeonghan said and i looked back at him "what? Her? Nah..probably not. She's just shy.." I said..."shy shy shy" I said and did aegyo infront of Jeonghan which made him giggle..

"Youre so childish.." He said and chuckled "you bet i am..." I said and smiled.

"Cheollie?..." He called out "hmmm?" I replied

"What would you do if I dont make it?...."
