Chapter 2

Wow, I didn't think it was possible to get so completely lost in the space of 10 minuets, I started at my house and somehow I have ended up in a field somewhere! Wow goodbye not being late on my first day :(

I started back tracking my steps and walked out onto an old fashioned looking street with a cute looking sweetshop on the corner,it even had little chocolate bunnies in the window! I mean come on, if a sweet shop has little chocolate bunnies in the window it definitely deserves a visit from moi.


I walked over to the shop and opened the door, a little bell ringing as i did. Inside it was possibly the cutest shop I had ever seen! The sweets were all in display jars on the walls and there were even old fashioned paintings on the walls.

I spotted a little jar of blue sherbet at the back and instantly felt my mouth water, mmmmmmmm blue sherbet. I stepped up to the counter and tried to see the prices on everything.

As I was doing this an old, friendly looking woman stepped out from behind the staff only door, she had greying hair that was about shoulder length and signs of wrinkles were appearing around her mouth and forehead.

What is behind those doors anyway? It's always confused me that they have their own little bit of shop that no one is actually aloud to SHOP in. What do they do in there? Watch TV? Eat little wrapped chocolates while devising how to rid the world of children? What?

As she lent over to close the door I craned my head to try and see what was there but she quickly sidestepped so that she was covering it. Damn, oh well. I turned my attention back to the old lady who was looking at me expectantly, ooooh yeah the sherbet!

"Could you tell me how much the sherbet is please?" I asked politely

While she was getting the price list from behind the counter, my eye caught sight of the hottest boy I have EVER seen, and trust me I have seen a lot of hotties in my day.

He was tanned and was wearing a tight black shirt that showed glimpses of his six pack underneath, his brown hair was impeccably styled and his low hanging genes left little to the imagination.

I involuntarily gasped as he turned his head to look at me, his sharp features were only complimented more by his sparkling blue eyes that seemed to twinkle when he looked at me through the glass of the shop window.


"Are you alright dear? You seemed to have zoned out a bit, do u need to sit down for a minuet?" The old women said as she snapped me out of my thoughts.

I tore my gaze from the hunk of a guy sitting on the bench outside and slowly caught on to what she had said, "Urm, no thanks I was just daydreaming a bit" I said while trying really hard not to let my gaze drift back to the guy out side.

I handed over some money and she gave me the change and a bag of blue sherbet to go with it.

"Thanks, il be on my way now" I replied while slowly walking to the shop door. I really didn't want to walk past this guy who was inconveniently sitting right out side the shop.

Yes he was drop dead gorgeous but I couldn't help but feel the waves of danger that seemed to be rolling off this guy in flood loads.

As I stepped up to the door I couldn't help but pause, did I really want to walk out of the sweet little shop I was in, to face a death deifying drop dead gorgeous hulk who could possibly be a psychopath for all I know?

YES! My wolf screamed, she couldn't help but feel the power rolling off him and definitely wanted to check this guy out.

I cautiously pulled the door open hoping to just slip by unnoticed but of course life wasn't on my side, the little bell I had first thought so cute when I entered started ringing like there was a fricking wedding going on.

Damn! I shut the door quickly and prayed that the bell would go unnoticed as I slowly started making my way back towards where I came from.

As soon as I shut the door his head snapped round to face me and I gasped and took a step back, now I knew what was wrong. How did I miss it? The sharp defined features and chiseled muscles should have given it away.

As i finally made eye contact with those perfect blue orbs one sound word resonated through my mind,

ALPHA.
