Chapter 7- continued

SMACK!! I reeled backwards, furiously rubbing my now bright red nose as my vision danced in spots in front of me. That's twice today i have walked into something! My wolf growled in annoyance and I looked up to whoever I had walked into and was instantly met by furious black eyes ablaze with a fire that seemed to dance in the pupils- it was like looking into an abyss ,no joke, and I instantly looked down, terror coursing through my veins.

Great, just my luck. I had been caught like a little kid stealing out of the cookie jar.

I subconsciously took a step back and a low threatening growl erupted from the very pissed Alpha in front of me, all the previous playfulness had evaporated and I could feel the anger coursing off him in waves.

"Don't walk away from me Amalyn" He growled, his eyes turning pitch black. Oh dear, if his wolf had taken over already there really was no hope for me. His wolf was pissed at me for trespassing - Alphas are very possessive over what is theirs and if someone else touches their property, well, they can expect the death penalty.

I gulped as I took in the enraged look plastered on his face and drew in a shaky breath. Oh my God, what had I done? My wolf whimpered in the back of my mind, afraid of what our Alpha could do to us. What would he do?

"Now then Amalyn, what shall we do with you hmmm?" He and his wolf spoke, I whimpered and physically shrunk back when I heard nothing but raw power in his voice. "I-I don't know, maybe let me go?" I shakily laughed.

"Oh no my little pup, we cant do that can we? See, you have trespassed in a room that happens to be very personal to me, and if anyone else did that, well, they would be on their knees begging me not to kill them and their family"

He took a threatening step towards me and I backed up so much that I hit the door. I shrunk away from his penetrating gaze and turned my face to the side.

He roughly grabbed my chin and forced me to look him in the eyes, I felt my blood run cold as I saw just how much control his wolf had over him. This ment that what ever he did now would be what his wolf wanted, it was like the human side if him had been swallowed by his wolfs anger.

An inhuman growl tore through his lips making me tremor against his firm grip and my knees almost give way. He punched the wall next to me with such force that it made the lights in the house flicker.

"How much did you see?" He growled out, I assumed he was talking about the chandelier, but truth be told, I didn't really want to tell him what I saw. He already wanted to kill me for trespassing- I had no intention of giving him anymore incentive.

"See what? I-it was just a hall wasn't it?" I replied timidly. Lying to the Alpha was definitely NOT a wise decision but it seemed like I didn't really have a choice. He sighed and stepped back, letting his hand drop from my chin. I felt cold without it, like it was ment to be there but I shrugged it off and watched as all the muscles in his body relaxed.

I was just letting my eyes wander over his perfect body up to his strong jaw line and cheek bones, he really was perfect. Beautiful even. When I watched his now blue eyes narrow with suspicion.

"Do you know what I found really interesting about what you just told me Amalyn?"

"Urmm no?" I timidly replied, ot ohh I think my master plan was just foiled. Crap.

"Well, I just happened to have my hand near your neck and my wolf just butted in and told me that when you answered me, your pulse sped up. Do you know what that tells me Amalyn?"

"Uuuuhm no?" I weakly murmured, of course I knew what that ment, it ment that I was lying. And by the betrayed look in his eyes, he knew that too.
