This cover is fabulousamus 👌 And the chapter title is not in a creepy way, if any of you even went there. Yeah you!

Chapter 5~ This is how the animals would eat it

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"Hey you,"

I frown, puzzled at who could want to talk to me right now at the end of the day and why they sound so breathless. So me being stupid and, well, me, I make a joke. Or a pun rather, with a goofy smile on my face as I reply.

"No, hello, ewe!" Like a sheep right? I know...

But I stop short when my eyes flash up to meet the person I just bestowed my weirdness upon and meet a pair of sizzling dark eyes. I'm pretty sure you could fry an egg on those orbs, they're that hot.

His eyebrow immediately shoots up in questioning and I bring my hands in front of my stomach, wringing them together for something to do, before quietly explaining, "it was a sheep pun."

The corner of his mouth twitches and his eyes gleam with amusement.

"Well I'm glad my weirdness entertains you." I drawl, turning towards Addy's door again. Come on girl, get out of there and save me from this suffocation.

To pass the time, I finally let my eyes take a close up wander of him, and my oh my.

His white shirt clings effortlessly to his body and the black jacket that seems so carelessly placed makes it all the more appealing. There are folds and creases in the old thing and lighter patches. I remember it well, I squirted a frube at him once while he wore that. It reminds me of his flannel shirt I still have... And sometimes still wear... To bed... Then I gaze down at his loose jeans that are frayed at the edges and skater shoes that have kicked up gravel and stones countlessly by the looks of all of the scuff marks and torn fabric. Well he cleans up nice doesn't he?

When I let my eyes meet his again after a wavering moment of staring at the floor like it was a crossword puzzle, I see the smirk.

He always ruins everything.

Some things never change. Oh yes, Damian is probably still annoying and has (admittedly) gotten better looking, (Not that I would tell him that, ever) but he still probably has those little characteristics that just make him, him. And that said him is the Damian that I loved annoying the crap out of years ago.

I quickly do a once over of his facial features, a razor had obviously taken to his face recently as it was free of stubble, although it's evident it's been there. His eyes are still that swirling pool of gooey brown chocolate that most girls would indulge themselves in, and his cheekbones are still the same old, same old average cheekbones. But I like his face the way it is, because I wouldn't call Damian a Greek God or anything stupid like that, but he has got charming features. He's what I'd say handsome is. Of course Eddie is that too to me, but he has cheeky younger features too that just make him adorable and yeah...

I finally let my eyes rest on his just as they finish melting a trail across me and he brings his burning eyes back up to mine. I felt it, there was a brief moment that I re-lived the moment two years ago, and I fought the urge to crab his jacket and pull him in for a kiss. Or a hug, which ever one suits better.

I let out a puff of air as his intensity washes over me like a wave of water vapour, digging into my pores, only reminding me more of our 'almost' two years ago.
