Annie's POV

Ross and I are getting along better than before, we good friends now. But he still does go for those parties and sometimes comes back drunk, but he is getting better each time.

Liam, my extremely hot next door neighbor, has also gotten close to me recently, which I adore completely, but it’s not like I'm going to date him or anything. My feelings are confused.

My feelings for Ross are confused.

Yes, that's right, I'm admitting I still have feelings for Ross, but it’s so weird, I can't put it together any more.

But we friends, and just good friends.

"Annie, wait up."

I turn around and see Liam coming down the hallway. He was wearing blue skinny jeans, a baseball T, and so high tops.

"Hey Liam, what up?"

He told me how the soccer team is having this huge party for winning the game yesterday. Yeah, Liam has been in this school for over a month and he is already the boy’s soccer team captain. I don't mind, especially when they are playing shirts and skin.

"I was wondering if you would like to come with me, I mean you one of the only girls that I can actually talk to without wanting to run away thinking they are going to rape me." Liam said and I chuckled.

I been getting more hate recently ever since I’ve been hanging out with Liam, even Ross will give me the evil glare when he's around.

"Wait isn't Ross on the soccer team?" I pretty sure he said that before.

"Yeah he is, why?" Liam asked.

"He never mentioned a party to me at all; he didn't even tell me you guys won yesterday." I tell me.

Why wouldn't he tell me that? I understand that the whole relationship things are there but still we were still friends, and friends tell each other stuff like that, right?

"Well that’s his lose, so will you come with me?"

"Sure, I would love to." I say smiling.

I turned and at the corner of my eye I could have sworn I saw Ross.

Maybe....

Ross POV

I saw Annie with Liam again. I hate to admit it but they look good together.

God, shut it Ross, you love her, and you can't give up on her. She the reason I’m changing. I can't lose her.

My phone was buzzing; I looked and saw that it was Dani again. She thought that we were an item, but I have stressed it to her enough times that we are anything but an item. I told her that I had feelings for someone else. The only problem was when she asked who, I didn't tell her. So she still things there is hope for her and me.

I shut my phone off and looked back at Annie and Liam; he was looking at her and whispering things into her ear which made her laugh.

God I miss her laugh.

I was planning on inviting her to our soccer party today, but with my luck I had overheard the conversation between Annie and Liam. He had asked her and she said yes.

I left my post and walked towards the dining hall.

The same question kept coming into my mind over and over again.

What does Liam have that I don’t?

I already knew the answer though,

He had Annie, and I don't.

"Ross." A voice shrieks and I groan.

"What do you want Dani?" I said with annoyance and she gives me a look. 

"Aren't you going to invite your own girlfriends to the soccer party, and why didn't you tell me about it?" She whines.

"Well one we aren't dating, and two I already have a date." I say

"Who, I heard Annie was going with the new hottie Liam." She said. Damn news travels fast in this school.

I look over the crowd and see Annie's friends, what was her name Jocelyne. “I’m going with Jocelyne." I state. She looks over at her in disgust then she smirks.

"You’re going to the party with you fling's best friend." She says sluggish. I want to slap her for calling Annie a fling, but I have morals not to slap a girl.

"Were friends and I decided to ask her, so deal with it." I say walking away.

"You will be mine Ross." She says stomping her feet and running the other way.

I make my way towards Jocelyne and grab her hand and pull her to the side.

"I need a favor." I tell her.

"And why would I do anything for you, you broke my best friends heart." She said harshly.

"I never meant to, I love her, and she won't listen, what happened was a mistake and I want her to forgive me, and I know whatever I do she won't, but please, come with me the soccer party today." I say.

"Why?" She asks.

"Because I don't want to go with Dani, and I want you to make sure Annie doesn't go for Liam, you know well enough that she won't be able to last with another relationship.

She thinks about it for a moment and sighs. "Fine, but if you hurt Annie one more time, I will become your worst nightmare Lynch got it."

"Got it."

Now to make Annie mine, but how?
