More than friends...

Mark?

Jack sat up against his bed frame clutching his blankets unsure who was opening his door. It had to be Mark he was the only other person in the house...

Jack was relieved to see Marks huge shadowed figure filling the doorway.

"Mark?" Jack whispered.

"Sean, I kinda had a nightmare about my dad."

Mark burst into tears stood in jacks doorway, trying to stop the flood of tears. Jack ran over to Mark hugging him and trying to comfort him. Mark responded by hugging Mark back tightly. Jack felt himself relax into Marks huge frame, Mark began sobbing into jacks shoulder.

Jack pulled away and guided Mark towards his bed and sat him down. Mark then laid down and Jack laid next to him; Mark was still crying and Jack placed his head on Marks chest. This made Mark stop crying and he once again wrapped his arms around Jack and fell asleep.

Jack soon felt himself falling asleep with his head on Marks muscular chest. He drifted away feeling safer and closer to Mark then he'd ever felt.

Mark woke up to find himself spooning Jack. He had his leg wrapped around his hip and one arm around his chest and the other under Jack's head.

Marks stood up slowly, pulling the blankets over Jack. He prepared to go for a run, he got dressed grabbed an apple and headed out. He took his spare key from under the mat just outside and began running.

He texted Jack to make sure he was okay.

Mark: Sorry I didn't say but I'm a run right now, sorry for last night. What happened that day is still with me. Thanks for being their when I needed you Jackaboy and I hope you enjoyed the cuddles O_o.

Jack: it's okay Markimoo, in always there for you if you need me. I understand and I'm always up for more cuddles :).

Mark: Right I'm nearly home so I'll see you soon...

Jack: see you soon.

It took all of Jack's strength to not type " I love you" because he was unsure if Mark felt the same, if only he knew Mark did...
