The doctor stood there still for a few seconds observing Jack while he sobbed on the floor. "Hello are you Marks significant other?" The doctor asked.
"YES! Is he okay?!" Jack screamed.
"We are glad to inform you that we know Sean does not have cancer, it's due to epilepsy. Whilst he was having a seizure he began coughing and torn a blood vessel in his throat." The doctor replied.
Jack screamed in joy, he wasn't overly happy because of how bad Mark was but he felt so much relief to find out that Mark was going to recover.
Jack was feeling relieved, he was still worried about how Mark was going to recover and if he was able to speak okay. However his happy thoughts were cut off.
"However, when the blood accumulated in his throat it blocked his air flow to his brain and starved him of oxygen. There's a small chance that he might forget somethings."
Jack was mortified, those words stained the air. It was all he could hear. Would Mark forget him? All that had happened? That Jack now lived with him?
Jack knew that sometimes memory loss only affected certain aspects of people like where they live or their family. Jack sat outside for waiting room for 6 hours while they prepared Mark, they had to drain some blood from his lungs and help close the torn blood vessel in his throat.
After what felt like forever Jack was allowed to go in and see him. He walked slowly up to his bed, his curtain was still covering his bed, Jack began breathing heavily and started panicking. He finally pulled the curtain aside.
Mark was rubbing this throat because they'd had tubes in his
Lungs to drain blood. He was still dizzy from being starved of oxygen but it was relatively minor.Mark looked at Jack with a blank expression. But then after three second he smiled slightly to the side. Jack felt reassured that Mark recognised him, he sighed and dropped onto the bed hugging Mark tightly.
"Damn Sean, guess you ship Septiplier now?" Mark laughed.
Jack realised that Mark had forgotten their relationship and not him. Jack lost all emotions. His smile of relief was smacked of his face. Mark looked at him confused as to why he'd began crying so heavily.
"Jack, why did they say you where my significant other?" Mark chuckled still confused as to why Jack was crying.
"You were visiting me Mark about 6 Months ago and we got together." Jack sniffled.
"You're such a fucking weirdo." Mark ran his hands through his hair nervously.
"I'm telling the truth Mark. We live with each other now, I moved to LA." Jack was loosing his voice because of how upset he was.
"You know what Sean, you should've been an actor your really good a fake crying. Oh can you help me find my new glasses?"
Jack stood still frozen in sadness, he reached down into a small white plastic bag that was on a drawer. He pulled out some glasses that Mark had to wear for a few days because his eyes wear still be too sensitive. Marks epilepsy had been non-existent his whole life but was triggered because of high stress levels.
Jack couldn't speak, he couldn't think of anything to say. He sat in the waiting room for Mark while he got changed and prepared to go home. Mark met Jack outside the hospital.
"Hey have you seen my phone Sean?" Mark asked.
"Oh yeah it's right here." Jack spoke in monotone, he reached into his pocket and handed Mark his phone.
