"Mija! All I'm saying is keep it down next time, you were just a few rooms away" Clara said with a brow raised, only teasing her daughter.

"Mom!" Lauren groaned with her face flushed, a little embarrassed "You're the one who didn't want us in a hotel"

"You're right mommys baby" she pinched at the red cheeks "I miss you too much when you're gone. Now come here" she flattened her hands the side of Laurens face attacking her with kisses, earning another groan.

She let go "Also.. you two? Very compatible" she said putting the okay sign in the air with a smirk "Based on what I heard last night that is. Your father and I haven't made noises like that in-"

"NOPE not gonna happen, I definitely don't want to hear that" Lauren groaned grimacing "Did he hear?" She questioned softly, looking around.

Clara giggled " No, noqueado" she said waving her hand in the air "Asleep"

The Latina sighed of relief "Good"

"Where's my daughter in law?"

"She's sleep & mom don't call her that" Lauren twisted her lips.

"Why not?" She pouted

"It's just.. things like that get my hopes up" Lauren sighed "I know we said things were perfect and all but they aren't.. I want them to be. But they aren't" she frowned.

"Oh Mija.. Tell me all about it"

"Someone came back into her life again, an 'ex lover'" she said putting quotes into the air and Clara grimaced "Mama I'm too paranoid for things like this. She says she just wants to be friends with her since they were so close in the past but it scares me. I love her"

"Do you trust her?"

"I try to" Lauren answered almost to quickly.

"Has she done anything that makes you feel that way?"

"No, nothing really just small things" Lauren pressed her lips in a line.

"Lauren..?" Clara questioned with a brow raised.

"I want to trust her Mama but something is gnawing at the back of my neck telling me not to"

"You cannot let that past relationship dictate your current one Lauren.." She scolded.

"What makes me feel worse is it's not just my past relationship, she had a very toxic one as well. That's why it pains me not to trust her because that's all she needs. But Lucy, Mama.." Her voice faded off with a frown

"If you don't forget about her and what she did you you, you'll never be happy. Now if you really love that woman upstairs you show her by putting your trust in her, all of it. If not, leave."

"Mom! I can't leave her, I'm so in love with her it's insane" she pouted.

"Well Lauren trust her, give her space when she needs it. Hold her, when she doesn't need space and wants you close. Allow her to spend time with her friends even this girl you're speaking of, or else this relationship will become toxic as well"

Lauren grimaced at the thought of that happening "okay.." She frowned.

"Now go start getting ready so we all can get the day started.. You wake her up with a big sloppy kiss, that's how she should be woken up every morning" She added with a small smile and Lauren nodded making her way upstairs to the room.

Once she entered she saw the brown girl sitting with her back against the headboard smiling at her.

"Goodmorning baby"
