Griffin was walking to his table after he gave me a reassuring hug since the past couple of months have been like hell ever since the event with the mysterious gal.after I smile and wave at him sitting in my usual spot , between Crabbe and Goyle.
"Oh, does someone have a boyfriend?" Pansy asks teasingly. Her face resembled a pug, though she still looked much better than me. I naturally blush shaking my head, causing the bells attached to my ears to jingle. Goyle laughs with his mouthful earning a hit in the head from me.
Over the last couple of months, my temper has gone down, I've made better friends with Crabbe and Goyle. Me and Griffin have gotten closer. Though with winter break coming, everything was going to change.
Malfoy snorts looking at me in disgust, "Why would the Blood-trader have a boyfriend?" I glare at him and point my wand at him. He stops cowering into his food.
Looking down the table, I spot a glorious piece of ice cream cake. I start to jump up and down, hitting Crabbe in his shoulder while pointing to the cake. He rolls his eyes and passes it to me just as I stuff my face with it.
After supper, it was time for everyone to go. I watched as almost everyone left besides my brothers, Harry and a curly haired girl. I sigh and sit in the library sadly.
What if they forget you exist?
What if they die and you never see them again?
What if you die?
The voices had started since I got word of the rumors my brothers were spreading. Sadly they only become stronger everyday. I sigh and go to the common room changing into my pjs and sit by the green fire.

Waking up, I roll over crushing a box. Looking at it curiously, I open the letter attached.
I smile seeing that it's from Griffin. I guess that someone remembered me this year, it was suprising because from the first memory i have ive been forgotten at all holidays. Id be in my room waiting to go down to the living room and open gifts with them. I was never allowed to go down before I was asked to. Upon opening my gift I see a wolf in the shape of a half heart on a necklace, smiling softly. It was simple but it was perfect. Smiling I walk to my dorm and changed into some sweats and a random sweatshirt. Grabbing my wand I head to the great hall.
The ceiling was snowing and the Christmas tree in front of the hall was decorated simply. "Hey Fox!!"
I turn around and see Peves holding some armor, "what are you up to now?" I ask annoyed.
"Oh nothing," he laughs before heading off to who knows where.
The rest of winter break was a blur. I watched Peves as he fooled around with the teachers. I hung out with Bloody Boron.
I sat by black lake looking at the waters. I was bored out of my mind. I look up at the greying sky. The trees were starting to sway. I look into the water and see the reflection of a girl I've never seen before, she looked happy, untouched by the cruelty of family, and had no scars. She turns around and starts walking away, just like everyone in my life.
