"Stop it!"

Judy's ears perked at the noise. It came out from behind harmony hill, echoing with a whine of loneliness. The wolf beside her picked up on the cry, and knew there was only one person with that voice.

Nick.

"Sam, I think we need to start running," Sam gave a panicked look, her heat trate increasing dizzyingly. "Right now!"

Judy knew Nick would never plead like that, or cry like that anytime, unless it was something that was out of her thoughts. This was the first time it ever happened. Dozens of negative and horrible thoughts crossed into her head, why hadn't he had his microphone on? Why did he scream? What made him scream that?

Judy stomped with panting breath, and dizzying anxiety down the path towards harmony hill.

He felt so helpless. Hadn't Judy heard him wail?

Nick felt so cold.

So lonely.

So hated...

Nick's eyes dilated with fury, and horrible hunger shanked his lower intestines....

AND HE WASN'T GOING TO TAKE THIS PAIN ANYMORE!

Nick felt a wet crunch pop out of his back, the spine stretching and splintering into a new shape. The claws in his paws elongated and sharpened to a razor point.

Thoughts of his mom and him, happy in his youth, boomed in his brain, confusing and mauling the poor animal's brain. Now her remains were sprawled about in Harmony Hill, and her skull was in pieces on the grass.

He felt his nose break, and the muzzle he had stretched to a new length, followed by his shattering skull, growing larger and larger. The fur swatch tore, and on the bone, flesh grew over it like a scab healing in seconds. Then right out of it, fur grew, like the scars hadn't even happened.

With a boom from his powerful barrel chest, the monster that was now Nick roared with fury, back hunched, ivory fangs bared, black lips dripping with hideous, hot, saliva. He thrived for the other creatures warm, flowing blood to seep into his lips, and rip pieces out of his insides.

The other, more experienced beast reared its ugly head, and flew with kick of its powerful legs, straight into Nick's chest. Right away there was a flurry of swiping claws, teeth, and ugly eyes tearing at the enemy. Nick hit his claws into the other's side, and it howled with searing pain. The creature brought its jaws upon his shoulder, thrashing about until it tore out a good portion of his muscle.

Nick squealed with animalistic pain, before locking his mutant paws around the others back, digging deep through the flesh, grabbing his spine with a rough clutch. The larger of the creatures screeched, releasing the hunk of Nick's shoulder into the grass.

The blood mixed with the dew like drink mix in water.

The raging creature that had Nick's likeness shot up, stretching his jaws to an impossible angle, roaring with agony and anger.

He was not going to be killed by the thing that desecrated his mother's grave.

Nick pounded forward, leaping with visible aggression, straight onto the other monster, jaws locking around its neck. Before he could crush the windpipe and eat the larynx, he briefly into the other's eyes.
