Chapter ten

Lucien's POV
I was already awake and dressed in my room when a goblin servant came in.
He bowed.
"Prince lucien you're father would like to speak to you in his office." He gruffly said.
"Okay, you're dismissed." I said to him. He bowed and left.

This better not be more rules for me and Crystal.
I entered my fathers office and Crystal wasn't there.
"Hello father." I said to Jareth.
"Hello lucien. Sit." He said to me gesturing to a chair.

"From what I've saw your relationship with Crystal has improved greatly." He said smiling.
"Yes it has." I said remembering our kiss.

"The labyrinth is improving more as you're relationship grows. It will soon be at its new power and that's when you will become king."

"When will it reach its full power?" I asked my father.
"I'm afraid I cannot tell you that. Figure it out Lucien." He said to me and I frowned. "You are dismissed Lucien." He said and I got up and left.

Crystals POV
I woke up and got dressed in blue jeans, a white crop top and some white wedges.

Since there is no tele or internet here, I am going to settle for reading. My mother used to always read to me and I kind of like it.

It took me twenty minutes to find the library. Actually that's a lie. It took me twenty minutes to find someone to take me to the library.

The library was ginormous. It was like the one from beauty and the beast. I was gob smacked when I walked in.
There was a few books that I didn't have a clue what there were but there was also some human books. I grabbed great expectations and sat down to read.

I was interrupted by Lucien.
"I went to your room and you weren't there." He said.
"Yeah I left about thirty minutes ago." I said without taking my eyes from the page.

"I didn't know you read." He said to me.
"Yeah I do." I bluntly said to him. I was acting like this because I didn't want to fall for Lucien. I knew he wouldn't be there to catch me. That scares me.

He took the book from my hands.
"Hey!" I scolded him. "What the hell are you doing!?" I shouted.

"Why are you acting like this?" He asked. His eyes were burning holes through mine and he had a scowl on his kissable lips. I bit my lips and tore away from his gaze.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I said to him.
"Oh really. Yesterday we were happy. We were laughing and messing about. We even kissed more than once. Now you're sat here not even making eyes contact with me. So what is wrong won you?" He asked slowly.

I didn't answer him.
"Is it about the kiss?" He asked quietly with disappointment in his voice. "Because you can't blame me for that because we both done it. Or is it about something else?" 
I felt really bad ignoring him and making him feel like this.

"I'm just being stupid Lucien." I said to him.
"Tell me what's wrong and we can sort it out together." He said smiling kneeling in front of were I'm sat.

"I just miss home." I lied to him.
"Oh okay." He said quite happily. "How about we get your mind of it?" He said and I nodded. "I know somewhere we can go."

"Where?" I asked standing up.
"I'm only saying it is outside. And by the way it is boiling you should change." He told me.

I got changed into a yellow sundress and kept my white wedges on.
"You look beautiful." Lucien complimented and I blushed and nodded. He smirked.

We walked in comfortable silence for ten minutes until we got to this lake. It was heroines by lush green trees and the water was a brilliant blue.

I smiled and turned to face a half naked Lucien. I stared at his amazing body. But then not wanting to give him the satisfaction I looked in his eyes.
"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"Swimming are you coming?" He asked and jumped in the water. "Come on crystal the water is refreshing. And you wanted to take your mind off things."

I rolled my eyes. Kicked my shoes off and turned away from Lucien. I pulled off my dress and turned around. I'm so glad I put under wear on today.

Lucien stared at me and I blushed. Wanting to get away from his gaze I jumped in the water.

He was right the water felt fantastic. I floated in the water staring at the sky. I screamed when something grabbed my elf and pulled me under the water.

I swam up to the top and coughed. The. I glared at a chuckling Lucien. I splashed water at him.
"Really princess you want to play that game?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

I didn't have to time to respond when a wave of water splashed at me. I laughed and done the same.

Lucien swam over to me with mischief in his eyes. I panicked and swam away. But he caught up and picked me up.
"Lucien!" I screamed. He flung me over his shoulder and climbed out do the water.

I climbed around so he was giving me a piggy back. Then he jumped in the water.

We stayed outside till it was dark then we put on our dry clothes.
I was absolutely shattered.

We sat on the grass and I laid across lucien's chest.
It's not going to be bad been married to him. It's kind of fun.
Then I closed my eyes and fell asleep under the stars.
