Chapter 27: The Last day of the GMG's

Hi everyone it's your Author Hayley, I'm dedicating this chapter to my friend she helped me write some of the fight scenes so I hope you enjoy, please be aware this chapter is the longest I have ever wrote and after this chapter there will only be a few more left, it would be helpful if you commented and told me what you wanted to happen before this story ends. The total amount of words for this incredibly long chapter was 4051.

3rd Person POV

"Today is the last day of the grand Magic Games, we are going to finish this year's games with a bang. Today we don't have any games, We will have just battles between teams, to see who is truly the best. The points don't matter anymore only the guild that can beat them all shall rise to the top and claim. So guilds be prepared, for our first guild on guild battle we have Fairy Tail team A vs Mermaid Heel"

"The winners are Fairy tail team A. The second battle will be Sabertooth vs Lamia scale"

Time skip

"The winners are Sabertooth, that means Fairy tail team A and Sabertooth will be fighting along with one other guild, will the guild they are fighting be Fairy tail B or Blue Pegasus. Let's find out"

Time skip

"We Have our participating guilds for round 2, the fight will be Fairy tail A vs Sabertooth vs Fairy tail B. Can the participants please make their way to the Arena floor? For this fight there will be no time limit, the last guild standing wins this year's Grand Magic Games."

Lucy's POV

we all met on the field, I came face to face with our guilds other team and Sabertooth, we stood in a line Wendy, me, Akira, Luna, Hayley and Grace. The other guilds stood to our sides in a line so we formed a triangle shape. "3,2,1 FIGHT" Shouted the commentator Chapatti Lola (I think sorry if I get this wrong). We all split having a plan in our heads for who is fighting who.

3rd Person POV

The members of each guild ran at each other picking certain people they want to fight with. Erza ran over to Hayley knowing her weaknesses even though there weren't many, Minerva joined in with their fight hoping to beat them both but having bad luck.

Akira vs Laxus vs Sting

Akira's POV

I looked at my opponents with a small smirk on my lips. Laxus had an even bigger smirk and was crackling with lightening. While Sting had a little grin on his face as he started to clench his fists. I chuckled at their anticipation, they really did think they would win against me. I chuckled to myself and crouched down to the floor and placed my fist to the ground and closed my eyes, I heard the boys laughing at me obviously underestimating me despite the power I have already shown. The announcers voice shouted over the empty space and began to count down.
"3... 2... 1!"

As soon as they hit 1, I lifted my fist up and slammed it to the ground with all my might cracking and shaking the ground making the boys stumble. I laughed at their shocked faces and whipped my cloak off, my clean white wings spreading out to their full span, "Let's dance, sweethearts!"
I jumped into the air, merely missing a strike of lightening from a pissed Laxus and kept myself steady with my wings, just milliseconds after that I had to kill my flight and stumble back on my feet to miss out a white beam from Sting. His attack had clipped the top of my right wing causing it to smoke, I furrowed my brows in anger and whipped my head in his direction, "MOTHERFU-"

Before I could finish the curse Laxus hit me with lightening and shocked my system. I fell to the ground and growled, "GOD'S WATER ENCHANTRESS!" I shouted, and a swarm of water circled my body lifting me to my feet, I raised my hands making a sphere and threw it towards Laxus, the sheer weight throwing him metres back. I turned to Sting who stood there with an open mouth, not knowing I could control multiple elements, "ACHLYS' DARK COVER!" I shouted once again, pointed shadows surrounded Sting and at the click of my fingers hit him all at once, I heard his scream of pain and used the shadows to throw him in the air to let him tumble back down. I flew back into the air once again, I raised my hands to the sky and said in a strong voice, "Alawi, I ask for the Stars Sword!" A golden liquid began to swirl around my hands and formed into a regal sword. I dropped back to the ground in a crouched position and flipped the sword so I could hold the hilt, Laxus rushed at me and went to punch my jaw but I leant backwards so it would swing over my face, regaining my balance I plunged the sword into his chest. He grunted and looked down with a lifted eyebrow, confused as to why there was no pain or damage, "What the hell?"
"Sky fall." I said flatly, ripping the sword from his body and causing his own lightening to attack him instead. He screamed and fell to the ground, "One down. One to go." I said, turning my head to see Sting standing up, he charged up his attack and sent an impossibly big blast directly at me, I looked at the sword knowing it had one use left and pointed it straight into the blast. "Absorb." At my command, the light was swallowed into the blade. I smirked at the surprised Sting and dropped the crumbling sword. I began to walk towards him, he stumbled backwards not knowing what to do so I spoke up, "Look, I'm dating your best friend so I'll go easy on 'ya. Just for him." I said in my normal cocky voice, face to face with him "Sound fair?" I smiled before punching him hard in the nose and knocking him out. I looked to the crowd and gave them a wave and swallowing their applause. "Wonder how the rest of them are doing? I need medics and soon." I mumbled.
 
Gray vs Rufus vs Luna

Luna's POV

With a bored face, I fumbled with my fingers waiting for the count down. I could hear Gray and Rufus fighting like children causing me to question why exactly I had to be put into a group of utter idiots. I fumbled with my cloak and took it off, folding it neatly and placing it on the ground beside me, did some stretches and tuned out the idiot's conversation. I heard the countdown begin and cracked each one of my fingers, smirking with excitement.

"3... 2... 1!"

I got ready to attack but watched as Gray and Rufus began attacking each other solely, after a few moments an irk mark appeared on my forehead and I screamed, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" successfully catching their attention. I covered my hands with purple and red flames and pointed it to my rivals, I shot strong pillars at the two, Rufus jumped out of the way and studied my figure while Gray made an icy shield however, my flames melted through it in mere seconds leaving Gray with the only option to jump out of the way. I smirked, finally having caught their attention and had the possibility to have a decent fight. I released my pitch black wings and began to change to my Purgatory mode, I decided to use a not-so-common weapon so I muttered a few words under my breath causing a black mist to materialize in front of me soon solidify onto my fists turning into a pair of knuckle busters. "You suckers wouldn't last a second against me so I'm going to have a bit of fun and do this old style."

"Don't get so cocky." Gray grumbled rushed toward me with a raised fist, hitting me strongly across the cheek. My face knocked to the side but I stayed on my feet and I groaned, "You asshole..." I whispered, clenching my fist and hitting him in the centre of his chest. He coughed and fell backwards. He was about to attack me again but Rufus interrupted, "And what about me?" His arms were crossed and he had an annoyed look on his face. Gray and I looked at each other and then back to Rufus, "You come in last place." I said flatly, teleporting in front of him and round-house kicked him straight in the neck, knocking him out instantly. I teleported back to Gray just in time to hear him gulp. I laughed mockingly at him, "Is little Gray scared?" I said in a baby voice, Gray gritted his teeth and kicked me in my stomach, bring me close to throwing up but I flipped my body so I would land a few metres from him. He ran at me quickly, but I kicked my leg underneath him knocking him over, I crouched quickly and went to punch him but he rolled out of the way making my fist hit the ground instead, cracking the rock. His foot went to kick me in the face but I rolled away just in time, jumping back onto my feet. I cracked my neck and sighed, "Look man, my stomach hurts can we end this?" I asked with my eyes closed but I opened them just in time to see his fist connect to my nose. I fell back and groaned, clutching my broken nose, "The hard way then..." I mumbled. I teleported behind him and grabbed his waist, flipping myself backwards with him in my grasp and smashed his head to the ground, the perfect brain buster, knocking him unconscious. I stood myself of and wiped the blood on my nose, "That wasn't too bad." I send, placing my hands on my hips.
Erza requiped into her purgatory armour whilst I requiped into my knight armour, my hair became blonde and my eyes turned an icy blue colour. I wore a long blue coat, a tight white corset with a black belt attaching it to the coat, white skinny jeans with knee high white boots, white cocktail gloves. Attached to the coat was white shoulder pads and a small white cloak. I had brown belts around my left leg, my waist and my stomach.

I held a long shining silver sword, it had wings for the handle and intricate designs meaning that only I can hold this sword. I spread my light grey fur wings, the top of my wings where light grey furred feathers but the outside feathers faded into a blood red colour.

Hayley vs Erza vs Minerva

Hayley's POV

I ran towards Erza as she ran at me, we clashed in the middle of the arena we requiped into armour we knew we could beat each other in, I had spent 3 months teaching Erza how to strengthen her movements and armour, we both had swords in our hands when we heard the crowd erupt into cheers as we looked up noticing our fight displayed on the lacrama screen "NOW THIS IS ONE HECK OF A MATCH UP, ITS THE ULTIMATE SWORDSMAN SHOW DOWN" I heard Chapatti Lola scream "Now this shall be one of the better fights" Yajima san called into the microphone cheering me and Erza on. Our swords where pushing against each other, I started a staring contest whoever broke first was truly the weakest. The dust picked up of the ground and started to move around our feet. "WOW THESE TWO BLADE WEALDING BEAUTIES ARE LITERALLY LOCKED IN COMBAT" Chapatti Lola shouted once again. A swirl of greens and blues appeared between our heads, we both gasped as 2 hands pushed against our faces Minerva appeared and swung us around by our heads throwing us to the ground. "HOLY COW" the commentator shouted once again "If you don't mind id love to join you" Minerva spoke "WHAT AN ENTERANCE MINERVA JUMPED IN FROM SEEMINGLY OUT OF NO WHERE"

3rd Person POV

"AMAZING, THIS ONE ON ONE BATTLE HAS TURNED INTO A 3 WAY BRAWL THE TORNAMENTS TRIO OF FEMANIN POWER IS FACING OFF INTO WHAT SURE IS GOING TO BE AN EPIC SHOWDOWN" (A?N If the speech is in capital letters it means chapatti Lola is speaking)

"There all immensely powerful how could anyone predict this outcome" Freed said to two members of the thunder legion "Erza should make easy work out of them" Evergreen spoke up "I hope you are not doubting Hayley she is stronger than Erza as I have seen in many battles between them Erza has been the first to fall"

"Your guild has always came on top, you have caused the most damage and tarnished Sabertooth reputation so now I will defeat you both" Minerva said "I would like to see you try" Hayley said speaking up, "Enough talking lets fight" Erza said to both Hayley and Minerva. Minerva started to glow a purple colour, Erza glowed red and Hayley glowed Green. The surge of power emanating off the three was off the charts you could feel it from miles away. They stopped glowing and the stones around them fell to the floor, as soon as the last one dropped they ran at each other, there magic collided causing and explosion to erupt in the arena, luckily nothing was damaged. They jumped and swung there magic at each other sliding across the floor and through the walls of the arena.

Hayley's POV

Minerva created a big ball of magic throwing at me, I protected myself with an earth wall as Erza jumped through the air swinging her sword towards Minerva as she came back down, I shoved the hilt of my sword into Minerva's side, as Erza came running towards me pushing me back with both feet, I launched her by her feet as she came closer making her attempt to knock me out useless. Minerva trapped us both in a ball of her magic leaving us to float in the air, she started to chant something before an eruption ran through the arena causing a giant hole in the ground. Everyone looked at the dusty air we were standing in unable to see us. I rose from the hole in the ground creating a platform for me, Erza and Minerva to stand on so we could finish our battle. "I may have underestimated your power, engaging you to personally have taught me many things. You both have so much power raging beneath the surface continuing on like this will take us nowhere so let's change the game up a bit" Minerva created another bubble of magic but this time it was different inside I saw, no it can't be Grace. "I found a stray child" Minerva said "What is the meaning of this" Erza said in an angry tone, she had grown to love Grace, babysitting her a few times and acting like an aunty. I stayed quiet hearing Minerva's god awful voice again "Look at that face filled with pain, the sphere she is in constantly drains her power, its excruciating" I thought back to the times when Grace was younger, when it was only us and our exceed Aiyana, how we played all day and didn't have a care in the world. "She has taken her hostage, how can she stoop so low" Erza spoke "Surrendering won't save her, rest assure I have a much more entertaining plan in mind, I told you I wanted to change the game" I growled and she spoke again "Oh yes those scornful looks speak volumes" "Release her at once you filthy son of a bitch" I spoke in an angry tone feeling my inner wolf beg for blood to be shed. "Perhaps in a bit but first I will show you how a queen wages war" Minerva spoke again. "This is your last chance, release my daughter and I will allow you to live" My tone was getting angrier by the second "If you want to save her come and take her" I growled at her statement running fast to make it look like I had teleported, I unsheathed the strongest blade I had, it could cut through anything. "You may be the first tiger I feast upon but let me tell you this, you will not be the last" My eyes shone red filled with anger as she spoke, each word that came out of her filthy mouth made me want to kill her more and rip her to shreds and leaving her in the woods for the wolves to feast upon.

"Careful fairy this one is rather tuff to swallow" she added a laugh onto the end enraging me more. She switched places with Erza so at the last second I switched my blade so that it would do damage but not enough to kill my fellow guild member Erza, even if it came to killing her I wouldn't, I would kill myself as long as my daughter was safe. "You ladies go ahead an battle it out, I will take on the victor once she is weakened" Minerva said before Erza spoke up "Your running from a fight you interrupted, and you call yourself a queen" Minerva replied with a simple "A true queen arranges her pawns to suit her strategy, if anything you should be flattered I must admit I underestimated your combined power, I now realise I wouldn't stand a chance between the two of you but in the end its irrelevant a queen does not yield to power alone" "Let Grace go" Erza screamed "I accept your terms just leave Grace out of this" I shouted to Minerva she just chuckled and disappeared.

"She's got us in quite a bind" Erza spoke up. "Unless you know what it feels like to have your only child taken away from you then I advise you to shut up" I spoke up I had finally cracked. "If this match is a life or death situation I would prefer to die than kill you as long as you promise me that you will look after my daughter and keep her out of harm's way, and if in not there to tell her myself, tell her that she isn't allowed to date any boys until she is 18 got it" I said sadly adding a little chuckle onto the end trying to brighten my last moments. "Hayley you know that I would not kill you if I had to and that I would always look out for Grace and break the bones of boys who hurt her" She chuckled as well "There is one thing you have to do Hayley, give me a good fight like last time, when you wouldn't let me fall and pushed me further than my limits." Erza said causing me to smile. "If you come out on top you have to save my daughter" I said "Promise" she replied "Good" I summoned a sword and swung it Erza's way knocking her back, causing her to fall off the platform
Erza requiped into her purgatory armour whilst I requiped into my knight armour, My hair became blonde and my eyes turned an icy blue colour. I wore a long blue coat, a tight white corset with a black belt attaching it to the coat, white skinny jeans with knee high white boots, white cocktail gloves. Attached to the coat was white shoulder pads and a small white cloak. I had brown belts around my left leg, my waist and my stomach.

We continued our fight until I felt my own blade go through my back coming out at my stomach, I knew there was someone behind me and I knew that person was Minerva, the whole crowed gasped as I pulled the sword out of me.

That was a dirty trick you pulled there Minerva I said as requiped into a metal crop top and shorts. I placed my hand over the bleeding wound and healed it, wiping the blood off my hand, "You've had your battle now give me back my daughter" I said "One of you isn't dead yet" she spoke annoyed I created a hologram of Erza on that was believable and I teleported Erza a few feet behind Minerva "Is this good enough" I said as I summoned a blade and shoved it through Erza's stomach pulling it out and throwing it besides her barely breathing holographic corps. "Here's that child of yours, you will still fight me though" She made Grace appear unconscious and dropped her on the ground "Grace, Grace talk to me" I said shaking my daughter I felt a warm liquid on my hand and looked at it seeing the liquid was blood, I laid Grace on her stomach so I could see her back, I lifted up her cape and saw that her back was riddled with scars from what looked like maybe a whip and a sword. "I always knew you were a heartless bastard but doing this to a 10 year old child that low for even you" I teleported to the Fairy tail Guild stand (Where Makarov and the rest of the guild are) I walked over to Freed and placed Grace in his arms before I teleported back to Minerva "Now that my child is out of the way let the real fight begin" I got angrier and angrier by the second ad so did Erza, "Oh that was a bad move" I heard Makarov say. Erza requiped into her Nakagami armour whilst I turned into a wolf, but this time my wolf was bigger than ever, I stood tall even on all 4s towering over Minerva without even trying, this was the final straw. "You won't be in the Next round Minerva, I don't think anyone on your team is able to stand but let me tell you this your condition will be much worse" I picked Minerva up by my teeth throwing her across the arena, as I looked around everyone was down even my team mates me Erza and Minerva where the only three left standing. Not for long.

I walked over to Minerva's crippled body playing with her more like she was a chew toy for someone's pet dog. I slowly turned back into my human form "Hmm let me check and broken bones, a few but not nearly enough for my liking. If you are wondering why I am doing this, well you've come to the right place I'm doing this as pay back for all the shit you've caused since you were born and to show your father that he shouldn't mess with The Elemental Slayers or Fairy tail for that matter and to tell everyone that oh wait ill call him down for that, Jiemma here now I've got a surprise but I have a feeling you know what it is" He refused to come down so I teleported him against his own will and tied Minerva up in magic chains. "This is for Lucy" I said dislocating his shoulder, "This is for her mother Layla" I broke his arm and for the last one I said "This is for Acnologia for making him kill all those people and for trying to kill the Heartfilia's for the throne" I said braking a few ribs "Oh and this is just for fun" I said Braking his leg.

"Lahar, Mest they are al yours" and with that I walked away. "SO WE HAVE IT, THIS YEARS WINNERS ARE FAIRY TAIL, AND THIS FIGHT WILL BE ONE FOR THE RECORD BOOKS".
