Rachael's POV

I woke up in the Dean and Sam's hotel room. As I tried to get up pain shot through my body. So I sat back down.

"You probably don't want to do that." said a voice behind me. I turned around to see Sam or as I like to call him The Gay Moose. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and sweatpants. He sat on one of the two beds.

"You fighting with your lover?" I ask motioning to the two beds. He laughed.

"No...god no! Dean's my brother."

"Oh...." I said. Now I kinda regretted call him a gay moose.

"What happened to you last night?" he asked

"I don't know what you mean?" That was a lie. I knew exactly what he meant but did not want to talk about it.

"You came knocking on are door at three in the morning with glass lodged into your stomach" he said with a sad look in his eyes. I couldn't look back.

"Sorry about that." I lifted up my shirt where the glass had cut me to see that it was stitched up. "Thank up by the way for the stitches." I said.

He smiled and look like he was about to say something when Dean came in the door. He was holding a brown bag full of breakfast food.
He looked at me with a smile.

"I um....didn't know what you'd want to eat so...I bought everything." He said awkwardly.

The two brothers start to argue over what to eat. Sam wanted a omelet and Dean wanted pancakes and pie. I like Dean's idea but didn't say it out loud. After a while Dean just decided to make everything he bought.

"I'm going to go back to my room to get changed." I said and they both gave me a concerned look.

"Um...Rachael are you sure you want to go back there." Dean said. I could tell they had figured out that my aunt had threw the bottle.

"Yeah, I can't just go walking around covered in blood can I?"

"Okay, but hurry up. Breakfast is almost ready." I nodded and headed out the door. Why were they so nice to me? All hunters ever did was care about their selfs. My whole childhood was about learning to protect myself. When I was four the hunters at the camp taught me almost every way known to kill a person and made me demonstrate it. That was before I even started to learn how to kill monsters. It just confused me.

As I found my room I peeked inside hope not to have another incident like last night. She was sound asleep half way on the bed half way on the floor. I slightly tip toe passed her and grabbed my close and headed for the bathroom. I changed into my Green Day t-shirt and some ripped jeans. I quickly ran I brush threw my hair and brushed my teeth. I heard a yawn from the bedroom and got out of there as fast as I could. As I went through the room I quietly grabbed a bag, my laptop, the notes on the case, and a pistol. Then I slightly crept out the door

As I got to Dean and Sam's door I realized that they were complete strangers. As I knocked a few times I started to regret it. Sam came and answered the door. He had changed into a white t-shirt and jeans. I still couldn't help but to think of a mouse every time I saw him. As he lead me inside I felt like a awkward giraffe.

Their hotel walls where cover with paper about the case. I started to look at them at think. I had already checked the moon schedule and the murders didn't happen on a full moon also the victims still had their hearts so it wasn't a werewolf. That got me thinking what if instead of a werewolf what about a vampire? They feed on human blood and the murder did happen at night.

While I was lost in thought I didn't realize Dean talking to me until he tapped on my shoulder. That triggered some kind of instinct in me and I flipped him. Sam, who was sitting at the table stood up in surprise. Then started to laugh at his brother. I helped Dean up and felt horrible. He and his brother stitched up my cuts at three in the morning and how do I repay him? I flip the poor guy.

"I'm so sorry it just a natural instinct. Really I'm so sorry." He just stood there staring at me for a second.

"How'd you do that?" he asked.

"I learned to do it when I was four. I'm really sorry." I said and immediately felt another wave of guilt rush over me when he rubbed his back.

"No harm done, kid. Now let's eat!" He said with a happy face as he looked at the table of food. We have eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and a lot of other breakfast stuff but there was also pie. We all sat down to eat and they started to question me. They questioned me on my favorite colors (red) and food (pie but not strawberries I hated strawberry). Then it started to get serious.

"You grow up at that hunters camp right?" Dean said and I nodded "How'd they train you?" I went slight for a moment thinking about what to do.

"So what about you. I hardly know anything about you guys." I said trying to avoid the topic.

"Well as I explained earlier me and Dean are brothers. We've been hunting ever since we were ten. That really are whole life story." Sam said. I was imagining a moose saying it and accidentally laughed. They both gave me a strange look.

"Sorry I just can't look at you without seeing a moose." I said and Dean lost it. He laughed so hard he fell on the floor. It took him ten minutes to stop and his eyes were still tearing up. Sam just rolled him eyes at his brothers reaction and smiled at me.

I learned a lot about them at breakfast. Their last name was Winchester, Dean and I loved a lot of the same foods and music, their car had belonged to their dad, and Sam had actually gone off to college but dropped out to hunt.

It was fun but I knew I would have to go back to my aunt and her beer when this was down. I didn't know where Alexis or Jason were or how to contact them. I didn't really talk to them so it didn't really matter. As I finished breakfast I was stuffed. I excused myself, washed my plate, and went outside and sat on top of the Mystery Machine. I just sat there and thought for a good twenty minutes before Dean came out. He climb on top of the van and sat next to me.

"Hey." I said awkwardly as I just sat and started to think about my aunt had said about him being my real dad. I mean he look like me sort of with the same shape face and the hazel green eyes. But there was some things that I got from my mother like her brown hair and shortness.

"Hey. I was wondering ......well me and Sam where wondering if" he paused and looked over at me " you would like to come with us after this hunt is over." He looked scared to get a answer.

I didn't really know what to say because yesterday I hated him and now we just had pancakes. On one hand I could get away from my aunt but on the other hand I could mess up and get them killed.

I was about to answer but Jason came running down the motel stairs.

"There's been another murder." he said well out of breath and look at Dean with a questionable look.

"It okay him and his brother are hunters." I said and couldn't help but giggle at his reaction to brothers. We got Sam and started to head up to Jason room to see if there were any leads.

Me and Jason were walking side by side with the Winchester a few feet behind us as we went up the stairs. Jason still seemed to be trying to wrap him head around the fact that they weren't gay.

"So their not gay moose like you said?" he ask and I bursted out laughing. Soon he did to.
