story title: blue house; a phan au

summary: dan is a shy fifteen year-old joining the school play for the first time ever, playing a girl. however, it seems as if apart from phil who is dan's imaginary friend, no one is supportive of his role. dan's parents send him to a summer school in japan, hoping that he will socialise more, and most importantly play sports more to become 'more masculine'. there he meets a student who looks exactly like phil, but acts nothing like his friend. dan's world seems to collapse the moment he finds out the boy will be his roommate for two weeks.

author's note: as some of you may know, i wrote summer camp (a phan au) a while ago and the response i got for it was more overwhelming than i ever thought it would be, for which i'm endlessly grateful. i got some messages encouraging me to continue writing that story, but i was really busy at the time so i never had the opportunity to sit down, write a whole chapter and edit it; plus i was having quite a lot of problems fixing the plot holes i noticed along the way. however i still love the idea of summer camp and i always enjoyed writing it, so i thought i could give it another chance and make it bigger, better, more enjoyable and more aesthetic this time.

some changes i've made:
» the chapters will be shorter - they should not be longer than 500-600 words each.
» no capitalisation - i think it looks more aesthetic and its effect fits perfectly with the plot.
» speaking of, the plot - i changed it around a bit to avoid plot holes + make this book 100x better than summer camp so look forward to that.
» update schedule - i can't guarantee to update the story on a regular basis since my life is literally the busiest right now, but i promise i'll always come back. i won't abandon this story like i did summer camp. promise.
