Smut may be in later chapters
In the morning, I had awoken by my mother shaking me awake. She smiled, and told me that someone was downstairs to see me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, looking at my bedroom door as my mom walked out. I sighed, climbing out of bed, thinking it was time to get dressed and head downstairs.

After finally getting ready, I quietly walked downstairs and into the living room. As I stepped foot onto the carpeted room, I rested my gaze on an old friend. I smiled and started to laugh. "Oh my god! Eric! I haven't seen you in such a long time!" I practically screamed in joy.
Eric Mattson had been my friend for almost 8 years. We had met when Nash had left to meet a few family members. I was quite upset, and Eric was there for me. At school, he had always seen me around Nash, and when he noticed Nash's absence from my side, and my upset face, Eric had taken responsibility to make me smile again.
After that, we had been like brother and sister. He was there to comfort me. He was older than me by at least 2 years, and we had met when I was about 14 years old, and he was 16. He was my older brother figure, and will always be there. When I had turned 17, and finally graduated, he had to move to get into college.
And now, Eric was finally back. Just like he promised.
I ran to him and jumped into his arms, wrapping my thin arms around his muscular neck. I heard his laugh, and he hugged me back. "Hey (Y/n)! My my have you grown!" He said. "Last time I saw you, you were pretty short" Eric smirked. I suddenly pulled an annoyed angry face.

"I AM NOT SHORT!! YOU ARE JUST REALLY TALL!!" I yelled as an anime explosion blew Eric away. Eric just laughed, and hugged me tighter. "I really missed you (Y/n)" He softly smiled at me. I calmed down, and smiled back. "I missed you too Eric".
As soon as we got the whole hugs and happy greetings, we started to make breakfast.
"(Y/n), why don't you take Eric and get him set up in the guest bedroom, and take him out shopping" Mother smiled. "Okay" I smiled and turned to Eric to make sure that it was okay with him. He nodded, and we were off to get everything ready.
The first thing we did, was put his belongings into the guest bedroom that he was going to be sleeping in. After that, we told my mom that we were going to go shopping.
We left the house, walking down the street, while talking about what's been happening since Eric left.
"So. Got any crushes at the moment?" Eric asked with a mischievous smirk. I looked at him. "Yeah. Its still Nash." I said with a depressed tone. When he heard the depression in my voice, he dropped the conversation, and started a new one about what we would be buying.
"Clothes for you. Possibly some clothes for me as well" Eric smiled and nodded, content on the answer.

We had found about 5 different shirts, 2 pairs of pants, and a new pair of shoes for Eric, in the course of an hour. We walked, bags in hand, while looking for other shops, when I had spotted a book store.
"Hey Eric, do you think we could stop in there for a quick bit?" I asked. He looked at me and saw my puppy eyes. Eric laughed, agreeing to stop by the shop.
We found a few murder books, a fantasy, and romance. I bought them with the rest of the money I had, and got a bag to put them in.
I walked out of the store, with Eric in tow, when I had spotted a rather familiar brunette. "Nash!" I yelled at him. I saw him turn around, and smile at me, but his smile faltered when his eyes landed upon the creature that was Eric.
Nash walked over, and hugged me as best he could with the bags in my arms. "Hello (Y/n). I haven't seen you since yesterday." He smiled. My cheeks gushed red, as I remember what had transpired yesterday.
"(Y/n), whose your friend?" Nash asked with venom in his voice. I didn't notice, but apparently Eric did. "My name is Eric Mattson." Eric replied with a bored tone.
Nash glared at him. "I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to (Y/n)." Nash said in a rude tone. That, I did notice.
"Nash. Stop being rude. Eric has been a friend since 10th grade." I told him. His eyes widened, and he started to sort of glare at Eric. "Glad to know you don't need me anymore." Nash said, turning around and walking off.
I turned to Eric, giving him my bags, and told him I would be right back. I chased after Nash, and quickly grabbed his arm before he could go any further.
"Nash, what's wrong?" I asked in a concerned voice. "Nothing. Its stupid." "What is?" He sighed. "These feelings I have." "What?" I asked, confused.
He turned around and looked me straight in the eye. "These feelings I have for you."
Shocked, I didn't realize I had let go when Nash started walking away. He stopped, and turned his head towards me. "As long as you are happy with him, I will be here to support you. But that doesn't mean I am gonna enjoy watching you with him." And with that, Nash turned forward, and continued walking.
Eric came up behind me, watching Nash leave. "Well. That was an unexpected turn of events." Eric said playfully. I didn't say anything, and for the rest of the night, I hadn't said a word, and haven't heard a word from Nash.
