I cannot sleep.
My mind is filled with reckless dreams,
And fairy tales.
Yet when I wake,
The sun above me,
My mind wishes for nothing but rest.
For when my mind was fast afar,
The dreams and the wishes,
Became reality.
Whizzing and whirling,
Far above time,
For no one but me.
So when the morning's dew does come,
Far away from the distant time,
It shines upon my sleep so pure,
And dawns for me another day.
Until the day in which I know,
My land of sleep will not grow,
Until the day which I have found,
My paths have all met up again.
And then my dreams will carry me on,
To another world,
To find new dreams.
