A few tears slip out of my eyes. Getting passed the walls that I made, made to protect me, but now they can't help me anymore.
My family looks speechless. Because in the werewolf community it is very uncommon for someone to reject their mate. It happens every few decades.
I guess I am that rare gem. Rare rejected gem. Whoop Dee doo I'm special because I was rejected. Well am rejected because it isn't going anywhere. It is not something I can put behind me, but something I have to live with until the day I die. Which hopefully will be soon.
"Baby I'm sorry." My mother says as a tears fill her eyes as well.
My dad is looking quite angry I must say. Veins popping out of his face and arms. Hands clenching and unclenching, he's never looked better.
My mom looks at him with a hint of lust. She always said he looked hot when he's angry. I guess you could say that because he was quite red and his temperature increase about 10 degrees.
She and my father had this connection that I always loved. When I was little I was so excited to get a mate. Just for me I used to say. And all the other girls he fucks. Or as they call it make love to. Love? I scoff inwardly, My ass.
My mother hugs and comforts me. Helping a little bit but not enough to make me better. Not enough to heal my wounds.
"Pup hurt. Help pup." My moms wolf mutters softly.
I head upstairs and lay on my soft bed. No more tears, at least not for him.
"He doesn't want me. He doesn't want me." I whisper until dreamless sleep welcomes me with open arms.
