Percy Jackson Fanfiction :Jim 's Horror Games

CHAPTER 1 :WE VISIT A HORROR HOUSE

Hi,my name is Percy Jackson ,Son of Poseidon and Sally Jackson and many titles which I earned but I am not in the mood to say all my titles as it will just be boring.I am 17 years old and I was challenged by a jock in Goode named Dylan James .

It all started when I visited my mortal pals from high school during the start of winter vacation because I needed a break and Annabeth,my girlfriend decided to go to Calfornia to visit Camp Jupiter and Our Roman friends there for a few days.

We were talking peacefully until Dylan came and wanted to interrupt our conversion and we got into a fight and in the end he challenged me that I could not survive Jim's Horror house for 3 days and that he would win.So,due to my fatal flaw,to protect my friends I decided to go against him for a 3 day challenge.

Next day,I got ready and at the morning the competition rules were read and it informed that it was a three day challenge,winner takes the trophy , and a check of $2,500 ,if we survive.

Now personally,I went to Tartarus with my girlfriend,so there is no way in Hades I am getting scared of a competion ,besides I fight monsters since I was 12 and these fake monsters also do not scare me.

At dawn was the start if our competition,I got ready and my pals wished me luck then our host Jim arrives in a dracula costume

"Welcome fellow warriors,this is the horror house,there are three challenges ahead of you,the first challenge is going through the hall of terror,where dead people,ghosts reside,beware and there is no place you can hide the winner shall be ,the one who gets out the fastest,there are cameras all around so your fright is being recorded and so no cheating allowed"He said in a spooky voice,if I was normal person I would be scared out of my wits but the thing is I am not normal,even by demigod standards.

Dylan got pretty shaken by his threat but he did not show it,but I could see the fear in my enemy's eyes.

Then Jim said"Warriors your challenge starts now" and then he disappeared in some smoke and me and Dylan started our journey.

First of all it was pitch black in here,but being in tartarus for a while,I learnt how did see in darkness .I went forward and even though I could not see,my other senses were sharp,due to my ADHD and battle reflexes.

I heard the wooden floor creaking with each step I took and then I noticed there was a thin string in front of me which means something drops down from the ceiling,I steadied myself for this and as just I expected,a creepy looking doll appeared,I did not get startled and as I went on,I noticed the sound of ghostly screems across the hallway,I knew it was nothing and only meant to scare me ,later I heard a whoshing noise and then I stepped back .If I was a minute late,a ghost would have smacked me across my face.

As I went further,I noticed the floor was now soil,as a child I knew soil inside a house could mean 2 things 1)Someone dropped some soil inside by accident while trying to grow plants 2)There could be zombies rising from below.

So I took each step carefully until some zombie hands took hold of my foot,I had experience of being dragged by zombies due to the courtesy of my cousin Nico ,I knew they're weakness.I stabbed the zombie dude's hand with Riptide in pen form.

The zombie machine broke and I passed through it freely and whistling a tune.

I knew was near the end as I heard my friends outside.Then by accident,I stepped on a tripwire, which caused a wearewolf statue to appear from above,I just got startled but not scared as real and scary the statue looked like,I have seen real wolves,like Lupa so I was not surprised.

By the way,the entire place was filled with cobwebs and bats which I kinda forget to mention as it did not spoke me either.

It turns out I came out first not spoked out and I saw a television outside which viewed what was going inside

The host who was surprised said"No one came out of the first challenge smiling,I guess you are not spooked out easily,this is a difficult challenge and you just finished it just like that"

"I not scared easily and I guess I would be the first to come out smiling"I said

I saw Dylan coming out scared out of his wits, maybe I do have a chance of beating him.
