I was sleeping in my room, the door to the hallway was closed and so was the door to the bathroom. All of a sudden I wake up to a cat laying on my stomach asking to be pet. At first, I thought nothing of it because I had owned an orange and white tabby named Mittens. As I awoke I was drowsy and started to pet the cat asking it why I was in here, then I realized that all the doors were closed and there was no way the cat could've gotten in. I am on the second story of my house and the cat was outside last I had checked. So after I realize this, I caught a good glimpse of the cat. It was all black and once it knew that I had realized that it was not my cat, it jumped off my bed and vanished into thin air.
At this point, I started freaking out. I look over to my chair, it is a rocking chair in my room that I occasionally sit on to read books. In my chair, was a guy wearing an all black cloak with a top hat on. His head was kneeling down on his chest, and I knew that this was not a human. I was frozen in fear as the creature started to get up. It walked slowly over to set the side of my bed. He leaned over me and opened his cloak to reveal a skeleton.
My first reaction was to run out of my room and downstairs. I didn't turn around as I booked it down the stairs. When I reach downstairs I looked into the kitchen. I saw my sister, she was on the counter kneeling down like an animal so I immediately ran back up to her room only to find that she was fast asleep in her bed. I ran into my parent's room and woke them up.
For the next few months, I refused to sleep in my room. I still see that man in my dreams. Even after I burned the board and I never played it again. Many many years have gone by but this still haunts me. I have left that house but the paranormal world still haunts me and I can never get away and I have never been able to from that moment.
