Love Can Be Like A Kick In the Dick

Chapter 6

Kat sat and Gavin petted her hair at the doctors. She was getting her stitches out today and Geoff was worried about her but didn't tag along. Kat leaned her head on Gavin's chest.

"Kat Flame?"

"I'm here."

She pushed herself up on the table and Gavin sat beside her and held her hand. The doctor removed the bandages and eye stayed closed. The man reached over and got a pair of tweezers.

"Ready?"

"Yeah.."

As the stitches were pulled a slight pain made Kat twitch. She hissed in slight pain. The heavy thread was thrown away and Kat hopped down from the counter. She opened her eye and was able to see again.

"Bad news is I that will scar." The doctor said in a sigh of relief.

"Thanks."

Kat exited and Gavin smiled as she looked at him. Three rough lines became scars down the left side of her face. As they arrived at work,Geoff and Ray were waiting at the door for them.

"Hello!" Kat waved.

Ray waved back and Geoff stood with his arms behind his back. A smile across his face. As Kat walked toward him he held up his arms.

"Come here."

"Alright."

Geoff hugged her and looked at her scars. Geoff cared a lot for Kat. Seeing her almost as his second daughter. Griffon was the same, they both cared and took care of Kat. Kat chuckled and pulled away as Ray pulled her to his side. Gavin chuckled and continued walking.  As Kat sat down they heard a 'Whoo' from Michael, Caleb,and Jack. Caleb placed a hand on her head and chuckled. She sighed and Gavin handed her a small box. She gave a puzzled look and Gavin smiled. He sat down beside her as she pulled the ribbon off the box. She opened the lid to see a necklace with two charms. One was a creeper head,the other was a paw print. She smiled and hugged Gavin.

"I love it Vav.. Thank you." She kissed his forehead. Kat pulled up her hair as Gavin buckled the necklace. He stood up and pointed out he was wearing one as well.

Kat smiled happily and wrapped her arms lowly on his waist. She purred into his chest and Gavin's head rested on hers.

"I love you." Gavin whispered.

"I love you too." She chuckled.

"Kat?" Burnie walked in called for Kat.

"Yeah?"

"Wanna grab a bite to eat?"

"Yeah..sure."

Gavin kissed her lips quickly before she grabbed her phone. Burnie hopped into his truck and Kat followed. She looked at the window and noticed the scars on her face in the reflection.

"You alright?"

"Yeah...."

Back at the Achievement Hunter Office ~~

Geoff and Gavin were recording a new Let's Build and Geoff brought up Kat in a conversation.

"I've been thinking about it..Geoff."

"What that you love her or want to marry her?"

"Marry her.... but not for awhile...." Gavin chuckled into the mic.

Michael overheard from his desk and chuckled.

"Dude don't be bitch...ask her..take her out and have a good time." Michael inputted.

"I don't know....I don't want things to be weird if she says no..."

"Don't worry man,women love that romantic shit."

"Haha...Not Kat..."

"Really?"

"I love her and all,but I'm just scared of being denied."

Kat walked in and had a smile on her face. She walked over to Gavin and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Hiyah handsome." She chuckled.

"How was lunch?" Geoff asked.

Kat explained that she was going to be a new character in their hit series Red vs Blue. She was going to be Agent J.T. Tokyo from Project Freelancer. Kat turned Gavin's head and kissed him deeply. He hummed happily and pulled away with a small pant. She chuckled and sat in his lap. His arms wrapped around her waist and she played with his hair. She kicked off her shoes and leaned her head into his shoulder. She wrapped her arm around his shoulder. She chuckled and kissed his cheek. Then she whispered.

"I love you."

"Love you too,love" He whispered back.

His hand released the controller and pulled her farther on his lap. What the didn't know was that they were being recorded by Lindsay. Gavin chuckled as Geoff yelled at him to stop making googly eyes at Kat. She pulled on a pair of headphones and quietly listened to music and watched Gavin build in Minecraft. She soon fell asleep and Gavin jumped when drool hit his neck.

"Gavin..shh." Lindsay whispered.

Kat mumbled Gavin's name and held him tighter. Her leg twitched as it hung over the arm of Gavin's chair.

"She's like a child isn't she?" He smiled at Kat as he asked Geoff.

"She pretty fucking adorable." Geoff chuckled.

"She is gorgeous and I'm lucky to have her be mine." He played with her hair.

"True." Ryan inputted.

Ryan stood over Gavin and watched Kat sleep.

"She is like a cat...sleeping like that." Lindsay spoke.

Kat turned in Gavin's lap and Gavin caught her. She opened her beautiful and striking blue eyes. Gavin smiled and Kat felt Gavin's lips on her own. She smiled and leaned forward, Gavin closed his eyes and his fingers interlaced with Kat's. Kat stood up and stretched. Her headphones came unplug and her music played in the room. Gavin grabbed her hips and rocked back and forth as a slow song played. Kat cuddled under his chin.
