Trying to Stay Safe

3hours in the bus so far; "I'm hungry!
We must stop for some food or I may very well die of starvation!" Kiro said dramatically. Bon turned to Rin. "Geez, this guy's a royal pain." Rin nodded. "We have one more hour, your highness!" Shura snapped. It got brighter and brighter as the light shined through the windows. They started to see more mountains and greenery. "This certainly doesn't look like Tokyo to me." Paku said under her breath. "Are we lost?" Kiro whined. "One more word out of you and I'll shove--" "Now now Shura, I'll take care of it. Your second in command. Listen Kiro, YOU'RE GETTING ON MY NERVES!! YOU'RE JUST BEGGING TO BE THROWN OFF THIS BUS!" Igor shouted. Kiro crossed his arms and pouted. "So, we haven't really talked ever. My name is Shiemi. What is your name?" "What an annoying little girl." Takara's puppet said. "Oh okay." She looked out the window with her eyebrows cringed. It's been 4more hours in the bus; "Now children, we're pulling up to the palace now. Stay close together, because at night there are hundreds to a thousand more demons. Keep your battle techniques locked in your mind throughout this whole mission because that much could determine a life or death situation. And Always be aware of your surroundings. Everyone nodded. Igor and I are going to check out the palace first. We have to see if the tree demon is in there. If not, he's outside and your not safe. We'll be as fast as we can, looking for him. He's level ~seven demon.~ Be careful. Please!" Shura said with a scary serious expression on her face. "This is not what I signed up for!" Izumo complained. Suddenely Rin had just remembered something. "I'm missing my familiar." Rin thought to himself. Someone tapped Rin on the back. He turned, Shiemi was standing there. "You seem kind of tense. Are you nervous?" She asked. "I'm fine." He smiled. "I was just trying to remember where Kiro is." She looked at him with a long stare. "Kiro. Thats right. That's your familiar's name, too. What about the Kiro from our group." "What about him? What are you suggesting? Do you like him or something?" "No. I'm saying, wouldn't it be weird if This Kiro was your Kiro?" She laughed a bit and stopped after he gave her a very strange (what's wrong with you?) face. Her face turned red and she fell silent. Rin looked at Kiro with peering eyes and a concentrated feeling. "Just because they have the same names and..." Rin paused. --------There was rustling from the trees infront of the palace. Paku hid behind Shima and Bon. "Something's there!" Izumo stressed.  Something jumped out. It was a level3 water demon. Izumo summoned her familiars right away. "Destroy this demon now and have it done quickly. We're on a scheduled mission here." She said rolling her eyes. Both of the familiars teared the demon apart. It was as quick and breaking a twig in half. Rin got anxious, really wanting to use his flames soon but not for such a weak demon. He was saving his flames for the one reason they came there. The tree demon. He sighed feeling somehow bored. As usual, Rin noticed Shiemi still standing next to him and grinned with a plan at work. He pulled her hand and pulled her behind a bush quietly. "Rin, what are you--" "I think we should ditch the group. We're moving too slow. We're actually not moving at all. You have Nee and I have my blue flames. We're strong enough." He said. She squeezed his hand. "Rin, I'm scared. I don't think I could help you. Maybe.." she looked down. "Come on, let's go!" They both tip-toed past the group and into the tower. As they past all the students, they could see everyone ranting on about how it was so impressive that Izumo killed a demon so fast. When they shut the big rusted tower doors behind them, it was very dark and echoey. Shiemi stayed close behind Rin and tried to navigate where exactly they were going but she  heard something. Hitting into Rin, they both tripped and fell. A bright bright light came on there faces. "Seriously?? What are you two doing in here?! It's not safe. Especially just laying on top of each other like that on the ground. What were you doing anyway. I didn't realize that you guys were even..it doesn't matter. Get out of here!" Shura bit her lip and led back to the entrance. Shiemi looked at Rin. "I'm sorry." Everybody stared at them in confusion.
