It all started when the girls are sleeping over at Selena’s house while all their parents are gonna go on a trip going to Hawaii. Their parents are best friends too. They are like family.
Selena’s Pov
Okay so my parents are going away for a year and my friends and I are all saying bye to our parents.

Mom:Te voy a perder. (I’m gonna miss you.)
Selena:Voy a extrañar que también mamá. (I’m gonna miss you too mom.)
They give each other hugs and kisses and grabbed their bags.
Mom:Take care of yourself okay?
Selena:Yes mamá.
Mom:Okay. I love you.
Selena:I love you too mom.
Dad:Okay. Everyone ready to go?
All Parents:Yeah!
Dad:Okay. Selena, Make sure to call once in a while, keeps all doors locked, open them for food, friends, and family only. And most importantly…
Selena and Dad:Don’t go out with guys unless the parents say so…
Selena:I know dad.
Dad:(laughing) That’s my girl.
Selena: Love you dad.
Dad: I love you too. Be safe okay? (kisses selena gently on the head)

I can’t believe this!!! This is gonna be my first time without my mom!!!

Mom:I want you to call if anything happens baby. Okay?
Ciara:Yes mommy.

They all go in the car and drive off. All the girls start to tear up some.
Aaliyah: Hey. Why don’t we go shopping? That may cheer us up.
