Unforgettable (Jai Brooks)

Chapter 12

Jai's pov

Both James and I were laughing and talking about some of the fans. We had all came to this small restaurant to eat. But like always, the fans had spotted us.

We were waiting on Ronnie to give us the signal to get to the car. He was on the phone with Jacob who was supposed to pick us up.

"Can I get this to go?" Says Beau.
The waiter then brings him a small bag.

"Are you serious?" Asks Skip.

"Sure, why not? This hot sauce will be perfect for our new video." He smirks.

I roll my eyes and James and I continue to bully Luke.
"The only name here that rhymes with gay is Luke." Says James taunting my poor twin. I then join in.

We kept bothering him and eventually made the phrase into a song. He just ignored us and put on his headphones while he stared at the laptop screen.

"C'mon boys time to go" shouts Ronnie from the doorway.

We all get up and gather our things. Beau takes his bag with hot sauce, skip takes some left over dessert that he kept bragging about that was so good.
Luke takes his laptop in his arms.

As we approach the door, Ronnie warns us about not stopping to take pictures with any of the fans. And if we stop for one person, everyone else will want one.

"Can't we just stay for a couple of minutes and take pictures with them?" Asks Skip.

"We would've been able to do that, but you guys are half an hour late to the studio." He says frustrated.

"Alright let's just be on our way." Says Beau.

Skip is the first to make it out the door. We wait for a few seconds until we follow skip.

When it was our turn, we head out to see that Skip was knocked down on the sidewalk. A girl was next to him. James goes to help skip and I go to help the dazed girl.

"Are you fine?" I ask the girl.

"Yeah. Don't worry about it." She replies.

I help her get up and smile at her. She must have not been a fan since she wasn't freaking out or anything.

"My name is Jai." I introduce myself.

"As in J-a-i?" She says a bit excited.

I furrow my eyebrows. I try to think about who she was. Then it popped up in my head. "Wait you're that girl from the airport right?"

"Sorry Jai, but we have to go." Says a security guard as he pulls me away.

"WAIT NO" I yell trying to get out of his grip. But before I knew it, I was put in the car.

"Jai what the hell!" Says Beau smacking me in the head. "Why didn't you listen." He says disappointed.

"It's a misunderstanding." Says Skip. "She bumped into me and Jai was just trying to see if she was okay."

I was too frustrated and angry to explain anything to the boys. I just put on my headphones and blast my music.
I then manage to fall asleep.
