Chapter 2

Mark P.O.V:

It was late and I had just gotten done hanging out with my friends Ryan and Matt. I had to hurry to get home. It was the full moon and I was already sweating. Ryan and Matt already know about my... Condition. So they tried offering me a ride home but I refused. I don't want to hurt them. Luckily my house wasn't too far away, if I just hurried I could get home in time.

I was really close to my house all I had to do was go through this plaza. Surprisingly there was a small crowd still out about. Thankfully I had my hoodie with me so I pulled my hood over me and tried avoiding people as much as possible. I groaned as my body started aching.

"Shit! I need to hurry." I breathed out starting to jog.

I was nearing the end of the plaza when I heard a noise coming from an alley. Soon I got a scent of a human. Two of them. One of them had a heavy scent of alcohol, not a good sign. I slowly walked over to the alley and peered down. I saw a man and young girl. The girl was crying as the guy shoved his nasty fingers in her pockets. Probably looking for money. The guy held a knife up to the girl's throat keeping her in place. She did try to escape trashing around and trying to kick him but he was much taller then she was. I can't  just stand here and watch. I have to help her! I stepped out and walked towards them. The guy noticed me and grabbed the girl closer to his chest putting the knife even closer to her throat.

"Get the *hiccup* fuck back! I swear I'll kill this bitch if you get any closer!" He yelled at me clearly drunk off his ass. I slowly raised my hands as I continued to step closer to them.

"The fuck did I say?!" He yelled trying to stab the knife at me. I grabbed his hand before the knife touched me as I took the knife and threw it behind me. Once I heard the knife hit the ground I threw the guy in the wall then grabbed him by the collar. He just laughed.

"So red haired man has some skills?" He chuckled as he looked at the red part of my hair.

"Give her money back and apologize." I said glaring daggers at him.

He just laughed again. "And you'll do what? Kill me? HA! You're just as pathetic as she is!"

"I just might if you keep this shit up." I growled literally. Soon my eyes started to glow yellow as I felt my nails and teeth grow sharper.

The guy's smirk disappeared as he stared at my eyes with fright. "Woah... Okay man you can chill I'll return her shit but now you're really creeping me the fuck out." He said is voice cracking a little.

"Do it now." I said baring my teeth causing him to yelp. He shoved his hands in his pockets has he threw the money out at the girl. I looked over and watched as the girl shakily reached out to take the money. Her eyes never leaving mine. She was clearly scared.

"Okay there! I returned her fucking money now let me go!" He yelled trying to push me away. I opened my mouth to say something but all that came out was a groan of pain as I heard something crack in my body. I threw the guy down as I fell down to my knees grabbing my head with hands. The guy stumbled up starting to run out of the alley. "YOU'RE A FUCKING FREAK!" He yelled as he ran.

Madison P.O.V:

I watched as the man ran out of the alley then turning my attention to the guy who saved me. He sounded and looked like someone familiar but I couldn't put a finger on who. I was busy freaking out. I took deep breaths trying to calm myself as I watched the guy twitch and groan out loud. I shakily stood up and walked over to him slowly.

"Sir? Are you alright? Do you any help?" I asked about to grab his shoulder.

"Stay back!" He yelled as he started to take of his hoodie. "Look you need to run as far away as possible from me befor-" he yelped as something cracked.

"Holy shit! Okay I'm not leaving you because you sound like you are in pain! Plus you saved me! The least I can do is help you!" I replied frightened stepping closer to him. His head wiped my way as I was met up with glowing yellow eyes. I jumped back startled.

"I tOlD You to StAy back!" He yelled at me his voice sounding less human. "IF You'Re reAlLY GoInG tO sTay Go SOmewHere WhEre I Can'T sEe You!" He said throwing his jacket to me. "AnD PlEaSe DoN'T lOoK..." He said has he lowered his head as more of his body cracked it sounded like bones were breaking! It was a horrible sound to hear. I looked around the alley only to find a dumpster. I gulped down as I ran to the dumpster and jumped in closing the lid so I was hidden. It was smelled horrible. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and turned on the flashlight. I folded up the hoodie until I heard a loud whimper followed by a groan. I couldn't help but open the lid a slight bit and look out. The guy that had saved me was naked now. He looked at the moon one last time as his bones cracked and hair or fur, started appearing. I noticed his nails were sharp like claws as a snout started growing revealing all of his sharp teeth. Soon is groans and whimpers and slight screams were far from human. They were more animal. It was all just too much I slowly went back down and closed the lid silently as I held his hoodie close to my chest trying to calm myself.

Suddenly all of the groans, whimpers, and screams stopped. I didn't hear any cracking all I heard was nothing. Until there was a loud howl.
