Ah, You think to yourself. Italy is so beautiful! I've seen so much, and there's still so much to see! I've been to Venice, and I've seen the Sistine Chapel. I think I would like to see the Colosseum today. I think it would be fun.

You smile and call over a cab to take you there. You pay the driver, hopping into the back seat. You tell him where you wish to go and cover your nose from the deplorable stench. He pushes down onto the acceleration pedal and begins to drive to your destination.

When you arrive, you hop out of the cab quickly and rush up to a man who was standing outside of the ancient building.

"Excuse me, sir?!" You yell, approaching him. He turns to you and smiles.

"Ve, what do you need, eh?" He asked kindly with a very thick Italian accent.

"Well, I was wondering if you knew when the next tour was going to be." You reply.

"Well then, come on!" He squeaked. "I came into work today, and so far, no one has showed up for the ten o' clock tour; and its nine fifty-nine."

"How strange." You state. "Oh well, lets get going." He nods and turns, leading you into the giant ancient stadium. You smile, walking right behind him. "I'm ______. Who are you?"

"I'm Feliciano!" He replied, still walking. When you get inside, you follow him and lsten to his words.

For about an hour, you hear his long and lengthy lecture about the history of it. You nodded and took pictures of the sight, listening to every word of it. You hear every word of every sentence, but one catches your attention.

"The Colosseum was used to fight strong animals and prisoners. Most of the prisoners would die or get severly injured and die from blood loss later." He stated, pointing to the blood-stained ground. He stopped, and looked over at you. "Follow me." he said. You nodded, doing as you were told and walking to the very spot where the fighters would fight.

"Now, you go over to that side of the ring, and I will come over here!" He squeaked.

"Why?" You asked.

"Reenactment. Helps you learn what it was like." He answers. You look at him with a look of uncertainty and fear.

"Y-You won't unleash a lion on me, w-will you?" You stammer. He chuckles and smiles.

"Of course not! I wouldn't want a pretty thing like yourself to get hurt, now, would I?" He answer. You shrug, sighing with relief. You walk over to your side of the ring and get down on your hands and knees. He does the same and stares at you with a malicious smile. "CHARGE!" He yelled.

You began to run towards him, but, before you could even get halfway across the ring, you see Feliciano running like the wind towards you. You gasp, falling over in surprise. Within seconds you see Feliciano's bright face right over yours.

"I win." he whispered.

"I guess you do. If you were any wild animal, I would be dead. Where did you learn to run that fast?" You ask.

"You think I ran fast? Well, then its from one of two reasons. Reason number one: I was motivated by food. Reason number two: I am in the presence of a pretty lady." He winked and smiled. "And since I am not hungry, I guess its the second reason." You blush a little bit, standing up and brushing the dirt off of your clothes. He smiled, standing up as well. He took your hand and rubbed it.

"Um, do you do this to all of the female tourists? Because if you do, this won't make me happy." You state.

He chuckles and smiles. "No, its just you." He replied.

You blush a bit more and try to take your hand away from his grasp. He doesn't let go of either of your hands. Your yanking pulls him closer to you, which you didn't want at the moment. He stared at you with a blank expression on his face. You drop your jaw and give up on trying to escape it.

He runs his fingers down your face and smiles. "You are so beautiful..." He whispered. You stare up into his eyes, which cast a spell on you like pixie dust. He kissed your cheek and smiled at you happily. His watchd beeped, and he looked down at it. "Well, it seems that this tour must come to an end; even though I don't want it to. Lets go, ________."

You nod. He takes your hand and walks you out of the stadium.

Outside of the Colosseum, he wasn't as happy as he was when you were alone inside of it.

"What's wrong, Feliciano?" You ask.

"I'm just upset that I won't ever to get to see you again." He answered. You kissed his cheek and smiled.

"We can, if you would like." You reply, pulling out a small piece of paper and a pen. You write down your cell phone number and hand it to him. "I'll be in this country for a while, on school studies and stuff. So how about you give me a call. We could make plans to go out for pasta or something sometime."

He smiles, giving you a big hug. "I would like that; and I will." He let you go and waved as you walked away, smiling. "Goodbye, _____! I'll call you!"

"You waved, hopping into the cab. "Bye, Feliciano! I'll be waiting!"

You drove away in the cab, going back to your dorm at your college. You had only just pulled away from the Colosseum when your phone rang. You pulled it out to a number you hadn't seen before.

"Hello?" You answered.

"Hi!" You hear a voice say. "Its Feliciano!"

"Already?"

"I wanted to make plans as soon as possible!"

You smiled and talked on the phone with him for a while, making future plans with him, a smile on your face the whole time...
