At the bottom of the crater was a room. The door was closed. "We're gonna go in, Oorah?" said Lead. "Oorah!" Pallet, Sweetie, and I shouted. We made our way down the crater, and approached the door. "What is behind here..?" I asked knocking on the door to see if anypony would knock back. Nothing. Lead rolls his eyes and kicks down the door, breaching it with Steel. "Clear!" We are all gathered inside when the door reattaches itself to the hinges, opens, and then slams shut. Green colored gas starts spewing from the space where the wall and floor meet. Lead goes frantic, "GAS! GAS! GAS! MASKS ON!" From behind a chair, a ghoul rises. "WEAPONS FREE!" As soon as it goes down, actual ponies in armor appear, "SHIT! AMBUSH! WATCH YOUR FIRE, BUT LET'S SWITCH OFF THESE BUCKERS!" I start getting woozy and fatigued. Pallet and Sweetie are already out cold on the floor. "THE LEFT, STEEL! THE LEFT!" "ON IT!" "SKETCH! SKETCH!" I am out before I can hit the floor. I awaken to Lead speaking only via helmet radio and shaking me awake, "Get up slowly. Stay quiet." Everypony else is in a defensive position around me. "L- Lead.." I say softly coughing. He looks to me. "You're going to be ok." He assures. Steel is fine as his power armor has a snazzy built in filter, and just about everything else you would need. He hoists me up, and puts me on his back. I am always surprised at how well he can maneuver quite well in the armor of his. He make our way up to the door. Steel kicks it open no problem. Once outside in the possibly breathable air, Lead, Sweetie, and I take our helmets off and gasp for air.

I look around for Pallet. "Pallet?" I call her name. No reply. "Pallet!" I try again. Again, no reply. My eyes then widen. "Oh, shit!" I resh back toward the open door without my helmet. As I enter, the door shuts again, and I am trapped down there with her some of the toxins still lingering within the small space. "I can't see a damn thing." I say to myself. As I look around, I do not see any of the smoke left. I breathe in, and unknowingly, inhale a load of the smoke. I see Pallet in the middle of the floor. I rush over to her. Her body not moving. "Pally," I say as I nudge her with my hoof. No response. I roll her on her back, and see at least two bullet holes in her torso. My eyes widen and fill with tears. I pick her up in my magic, and rush to the door banging on it. Lead races in and busts in the door. "Stand clear!" I hear from the other side. I back away from the door only to see it fly off its hinges and into the wall creating a small imprint in the concrete. "Sketch! Grab her and let's go!" Without saying a word, I rush out of the room, and into the air, lie her on the ground, and begin the CPR procedure. I am unknowingly pumping more blood out of her than through her body as I am blinded by my emotion. After about 5 minutes, I look to her. Her body not moving. Her chest not rising. Stale breath. My eyes fill with tears. "No... No! NOOOO!!" I scream into the sky. My horn glowing a bright green. A large ball forming around myself and Pallets body. The orb of magic shoots outward in all directions blowing Lead, Sweetie, and even Steelhooves back. Lead's eyes widen and he slowly raises his hands. "Drop your weapons and turn around!" As we do, I feel a chill go up my spine, for in front of us are the Mane 6. Lead cocks his head, "Twi?" A yellow blur tackles Lead, burying himself into his chest while sobbing hysterically. Then a flash blinds us all and we are in a deserted town. Lead looks around. He returns looking like he saw a Ghoul. "Lead, what's wrong?" He looks at me with a far off gaze, "Pipyat. We're in bucking Pipyat." I was confused, "Where's that?" Steel coughs a bit, "Bout fifty miles west of Canterlot. First attempt to use non-magical means to make electricity. At 10:35 AM some day before the war, the reactor melted down. Spewed radiation everywhere." We start to walk through some of the buildings. Lead takes point, "Fifty thousand ponies used to live here. Now it's a ghost town. This is all that's left." Lead explains. "That's sad. I don't think we'll be able to find much if anything here." I said as I looked to him. "And whose Twi?" I added. Lead sighed.

"Twilight Sparkle," he explained. "A member of the mane 6. Her friends, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, and." He choked a bit. "Fluttershy. They all kept peace and harmony to this now barren wasteland." He explained. A single tear fell down his cheek. "Are you crying?" Steelhooves asked. "Buck off. I'm not!" He barked. Steel chuckled. That was by far the scariest thing I have ever heard. Even scarier than walking into that tree house all those weeks ago. Lead wiped his tear away. "How are you coping with-" Lead began, but was cut off by me in the blink of an eye pulling my 10mm out, and placing it against his helmet. "Don't you dare say that name, understood?" I spat. My eyes flashed red for a split second before fading back to their default color of green. His eyes widened. I could tell he was obviously scared. Not because pf how fast I was. Because he had never seen me angry before. He nodded. I then took my pistol away from his head, put it back in my saddlebag, and continued walking. Not another word being uttered from my mouth as we walked across the leveled area of Pipyat.
