Emrys's POV
I heard a crash downstairs. I turned my head away from the window. I raised an eyebrow and walked to the door. I opened the door slowly, not making much noise. I walked downstairs and saw no one. Suddenly, someone's hand covered my mouth. I shrieked muffled screams. I turned my head and saw Katelyn. My eyes widened. She put a finger over her mouth. I calmed down. Suddenly I heard a scream. Not one of mine, but one of ZANES. I whip my head around and see Zane, being attacked by someone I've never seen. He had brown hair and emerald green eyes. He held a sword up to Zane's neck. My heart stopped. He couldn't kill Zane! My hand straightened into a line and it raised towards the man. A green spark appeared at my finger tips, and a flash of green fire shot at him. I snapped back to reality, my vision was blurry, and all I saw was Katelyn kneeling over the man. Suddenly I felt someone's hand hold mine, I look up to see Zane's face staring at mine. His eyes widened in fear. He pulled my arm, I started to run wth him, out of the house. All I remember is Darkness.
Garroth's POV
I climbed out of bed, no one was in the guard tower. I sighed and stood up, my feet touching the cold stone. I put in my armor, except my helmet. I carried it on my side, I walked out of my room. I walked downstairs, past the cells from our small dungeon, and out the front door, a few villagers were outside, mostly children. I keep walking to Aphmaus house. I knock on the door, and she opens it.
I smile as she lets me in, Laurence, Dale, and Dante are already in there.
We finalize our plan and we decide that Aphmau, Laurence, and I are leaving in a day. We all leave, except for Aphmau and Me.
"Are you sure you want to stay behind Garroth?" She asks.
I chuckle and shake my head.
"No, I'm not sure at all.. I'm only doing this for Emrys and You and the villagers."
Aphmau nods, a tear running down her cheek.
"I-I just don't want you to leave..." She says sadly.
I am in shock that she's crying.
"H-hey! It's ok.. I'll come back! Don't worry Aph, I'll be fine.."
I said trying to comfort her. She nodded and stopped crying, though her demeanor was still sad.
"I honestly don't want to leave either.." I said.
