I held onto the ships wheel as the sea breeze blew through my air. We were near Meteli so the waters were murkier than it should. We were about to turn the corner when aphmau walked up on deck, I smiled at her and she smiled back. She then stuck her nose in the air and sniffed. I kinda giggled. "What are you doing..?" I asked.
"Do you smell that..?" She asked. I raised an eyebrow. That's when I smelled it. SMOKE. I quickly ran to the front deck and as we approached the dock, my eyes stared in horror. The village was BURNING. You could see people running away frantically. Aphmau called for Garroth in panic, he took off his armor and dove into the water, swimming for shore, aphmau had done the same. I flew into the air and scanned the area, looking for survivors. I saw Kawaii~chan huddling near a building, I dove down and grabbed her. "EMRYS~SENPAII! Your back!" She gasped. I smiled and flew her towards the docks. Garroth came running with Dante, Laurance, (who had severe burns) and Donna, who had tears streaming down her face. I flew back into the air, Emmalyn was carrying an arms full of books. I landing next to her.
"WE HAVE TO LEAVE SOME!" I cried out to her. She tensed and shook her head, backing away. "B-but.. I NEED them for research."
"You won't ever do RESEARCH again if your dead!" I screamed, as the fire approached. She sighed and dropped most of the books,keeping a few in her arms. I picked her up and flew her to the beach.
"WHERES MALACHI!" Aphmau Screamed. Garroth than began to run into the now flame engulfed, village. I ran in front of him. "ILL go. We have a better chance of getting him out." I said pointing at my wings. He nodded and ran back to the others aid. I flew up and look around, I then heard a child screaming coming from Kawaii~chains Café. I darted towards the entrance. I ran side, the building was smoldering. I looked around. I heard the scream again, I followed it to the basement. I kicked down the burning door and saw Malachi huddled in the furthest corner away from the flames. I picked him up and ran outside. The fire was rampaging, I flew straight into the air, holding the small child. As i approached the beach, I felt a sharp pain in my left wing, a poison tipped arrow was stuck in it. I then started to small towards the ground. I looked at the beach full of my friends, some hurt, some scared, some perfectly ok. Then my eyes looked at Aphmau. Her face showed so much expression.. one only described as the fear l
Of a mother. I held onto Malachi tight as we continued to fall. I covered him with my wings as we got closer. He climbed onto me, terrified. Then, one could only describe the next moment as.....

..I'm sorry. Ok so a GREAT start huh! I'm FINALLY back and BAM! Feels.anyways.. it's thanksgiving break here in the USA sooo yeah, I have three more free days. Yayyyyy. I'm really happy to be back dumplings!
