99 Days Before

The wheels of my luggage made an annoying chugging sound every time it passed through the cracks of the tiled floors. I dragged my suit case to the unfamiliar dorm room which was going to be my new room for the next ten months. Grabbing my suit case by the metal handle at the top and lifting it up on top of my new bed, I look around the small room that came with two small twin sized bed. I guess I'm sharing the room. "Hey you must be the new girl. Daisy right?" I turn around to come face to face with a blonde girl about my age with bright blue eyes. Her hair was let down and swung across her shoulder stopping near her belly button. She wore a light blue tank top and light blue skinny jeans with some holes here and there. She seemed to be the life size version of Barbie. "Well... are you Daisy or what?" she snapped at me. I finally found my voice and said "Yeah, that's me."

She looked at me with a stern smile. "Well Daisy, it seems as if you and I are going to have a problem" She says "As you can tell, I don't like people getting in my way. So what ever you do, don't get in my way and you'll have a swell time here!" She finishes with fake enthusiasm at the end. I gulped. She was that type of girl. I could tell she probably throws herself on guys considering her red bra was sticking out of the top of her tank top, and her tank top was risen up to show her belly button piercing. I sighed and started unpacking.

How am I going to get in her way? It's not like I'm very social or anything. I usually keep to myself and carry on. Once I finish unpacking my clothes I get up and start to make my way to the office. I look around my room and see that my roommate has left, it occurred to me that I didn't know her name. Oh well.

I opened the wooden door that connects my dorm and the hallway together. I step outside and see multiple people walking around the small crowded hallway. It was filled with both boys and girls. I guess this was a co-ed dorm house. I sigh as I walk down the corridor weaving around couples talking and occasionally making out. By the time I get out of the corridor I realize that I have no idea where I am going. Fuck it, just keep walking. I thought to myself. I waled down a narrow sidewalk that passed though the middle of the grassy courtyard. By the time I completely walk across the courtyard I see the large building that I assumed to be the main office. I turn the corner trying to find the entrance when I smack straight into someones chest and fall backwards. "Oops, sorry love I didn't see you there" A deep husky voice says making me snap my head up. I am greeted by two lovely green eyes staring into my boring brown ones. I immediately look back down and walk around him. "Hey wait!" I hear the husky voice call out again. I stop dead in my tracks and turn around to the boy that I had just bumped into. "You dropped this" he says referring to my phone that must have fallen out of my pocket when I had fallen down. "Thank you" I said quietly as I quickly grab my phone from his large hands.

I finally found the entrance to the office a little further up ahead from where I had the encounter with the green eyed boy. I walk inside the white office and walk up to the counter where there are several old women each lined up neatly near the counter each doing there own thing. I walk up to the closest office lady who had gray hair tied up in a neat bun with her purple glasses resting in the tip of her nose. "excuse me" I say with a small frail voice. The woman looks up at me from the current paperwork she was working an and replies "yes deary, how may I help you?" I met her icy blue eyes and immediately look away. "Umm... I came here to get my schedule. My name is Daisy Sparks." I politely tell the elderly lady. She quickly types something in the computer and than after a couple seconds says "Oh here you are sweetie. Let me just print this out." Then she leaves the office and goes into the room behind the office. I patiently wait for her to come back when I notice that my roommate is here as well. Just ignore her and she will go away. I thought to myself.
