97 Days Before

"Hello Mr...." I say while walking into the filled classroom full of laughing children. Most in which were laughing at my current state. "It's Mr. Brown and I would like from you to sit right up here in the front where I can see you." He said directing me to the chair directly across from his table. Walking into an empty classroom soaking wet and late is not a very good first impression to make on the first day of class. If it was up to me I would I have been the first one in the class prepared and ready to learn. However, now that I have Jamie as a roommate I don't have control over most things that happen with my life anymore.

*flash back to the morning*

I woke up to soft whispering coming from the all around me. What is happening? I ask myself. I open my eyes to see six pairs of eyes on me. Five guys and one girl. The girl I could identify as Jamie. And I could identify two of the five boys to be Brad and Harry. "Who are you guys? Whats going on?"  The guys looked as if the were ready to tear me limb from limb. "Were just having a little welcome party that's it." Jamie coos. I sit upright looking around at my surroundings. We were on a dirt path which I had no idea where it lead to. The only thing I could see clearly was the dimly lit faces of the people carrying my mattress and a couple trees. "Hold he down boys." Jamie commands. All of a sudden I feel a large hand go over my chest and pulling me back into the soft mattress. "Where are we going?" I questioned trying to find a way out of this trap. "You'll see" and with that everything fell into an eerie silence as I was dragged into an unknown place.

After what felt like forever, I felt them all come to a stop. Looking around I noticed we were at some later. I could hear the crickets chirping and all the animals that are native to this lake come alive. "Dunk her." I hear all of a sudden. No. Before I even had time to react my body is rolled off of the mattress and into the cold numbing lake water. My fully clothed body is submerged under the water and I could hear the faint sounds of laughter from underneath the water. I quickly swam up to the surface and took and deep breath once my head reached the surface. I look around and see nothing but swamp life. They had left me here, with no knowledge of where I was, or how to get out of here.

*end of flash back*

After enduring a whole lecture of boring history am I relived to find that I have a free period up next. Once Mr. Brown dismisses us I quickly grab all of my books and dash towards my dorm room. I barge in hoping that I am alone, and I am please to find that I indeed was. I look through my cabinets finding something suitable to wear.  I easily find a plain black crew-neck and a pair of jeans. I walk into the bathroom and peeling off my soaking wet clothes. I open the shower curtain and take a nice relaxing shower, easing me off the stress of the whole morning.

That is where I saw, out of the corner of my eye a shiny sliver piece of metal. I slowly grab my razor and pop out it's blades. They all fall to the ground and I frantically try to grab a hold of one. Once my slipper hand find its target it goes straight to my left wrist. No second thoughts. No remorse. Just numbness. I could feel the burning sensation crawl throughout my arm and I don't dare to look down at the ugliness I had just caused upon my body. All I do is simply dry myself off and change into the outfit I had just layed out for myself. Putting the god forsaken blade with my other collecting of self-manipulation objects. And storing it away where no one can find it; no one except me.

Waiting for English to start was one of the most excruciating feelings ever. The fact that English it self wasn't my favorite subject didn't help the fact that I had been teased to the up most extreme by good for nothing jocks that were just full of themselves. These named echoed in my head and I couldn't seem to get control of myself. My hands had started shaking, my body trembled, my vision blurred, my breath quicken. I was having an anxiety attack. Still the names were still thrown at me. "Look at her shake with fear what a wimp!" "Fat whore" "Dumb slut"  My body went into a panic; I wasn't used to all this attention. I did not like it. I didn't like it one bit.  My body was to the point of shutting down; that was until a sweet old voice rang through the hallway. "Hey! Leave that poor girl alone!" And with that everyone fell silent. She opened up the door to her classroom and let everyone in. I sat towards the back not drawing any attention to myself.

Once everyone was settled in she began speaking. "Good morning class. I hope you have had a swell day so far, and know I have!" She said cheerily. "Today we will be talking about..." After that I had basically zoned out. My body couldn't be bothered my her useless lecture. The room felt as if it was spinning and I couldn't tell what was up and what as down. Breath, just breath I tell myself. Before I even know what was going on I saw everyone get up and start leaving the classroom. I was dizzily trying to maneuver my way around the crowd of students. I headed towards my dorm and once I got there I crashed on the soft fuzzy covers of my bad and drifted off into unconsciousness.
