Chapter 4 ✖️

I woke up in my room the next morning, Kellin or Justin must've carried me.

"DANNI!" I heard Kellin yell.

"What?!" I yelled back.

"Justin's here!" Yessssss!!

"Ok just a few minutes!" I yelled as I quickly jumped out of bed, grabbed a ATL shirt, fades skinny jeans, and my white high top converse, then ran to the bathroom to take a shower. When I finished I French braided my hair then put on some makeup and ran out to the kitchen to grab some breakfast.

"Hey Dan," I heard Justin say.

"Hey hills." I responded. Justin raised an eyebrow and continued with what he was doing. I grabbed an apple out of the pantry and sat down beside Justin at the breakfast bar.

"Whatcha doing?" I asked.

"Well, I'm currently writing a song for the new album." He said turning to me.

"Oh? And that song is called...?"

  "I can't tell you! But I do have a question for you."

"And that is?"

"What are you doing tonight?" Justin asked me looking directly into my eyes.

"Nothing that I know of, but you better ask kells."

"Mamma kells?" Justin yelled. Where was Kellin anyway?

"Yes sweetie?" Kellin called from his room.

"May I take Danni on a date tonight?" Justin asked looking over to me smiling.

"Awe, sure Justin! I knew this was gonna happen!" Kells yelled right before he walked into the kitchen, then Jack walked in with Nick and Gabe right behind him.

"What did I miss?" Nick asked confused, as always.

"Aye, Nick, kells is the confused one. And Justin is taking me somewhere tonight." I said. Kellin looked at me, obviously confused.

"Why don't we leave now?" Justin asked "I have somewhere I want to show you."

"Sure. Bye Kells! Bye Nicky! Bye Jackie! Bye Gabe!" I yelled Nick and Jack raised their eyebrows at their nicknames but I just laughed and walked away with Justin.

"So what's this 'special place' you're gonna take me to?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." Justin said smirking.

"Whatever loser!" I said back and we both started to laugh.

After about an hour of us talking and driving we got to Santa Barbara. "We're almost there, Danni." Justin said.

"Finally!" I cheered. Justin turned into a parking lot and stopped the car. I looked around and saw a boat dock with a dozen sailboats attached to it. Justin grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the docks. When we were about 20 yards from the docks we slowed down and interlocked our fingers.

"Look," Justin said, pointing at a a large light blue sailboat "that's the one we're taking out."

"Let's go then!" I yelled before pulling Justin onto the docks. Once we got to the boat Justin jumped in and picked me up setting me into the boat. Then Justin went to the front where the wheel is and started to take us out into the ocean. "It's beautiful." I said "You haven't even seen the best of it yet." Justin replied.

Once we got our a bit from the coast Justin left the front and come to the back where I was. He put and arm around me and looked down to me. "Are you enjoying this yet?" He asked me. I looked up and him and smiled "yes, and it's better now that your back here with me." Justin smiled down at me then looked out at the water, I did the same.

Out of nowhere Justin pulled me closer to him and kissed me, "I'm so sorry! I... It just... I didn't mea-" Justin started but i cut him off "Its okay Justin! I like you." Justin smiled "I like you to." He said.

After a few hours Justin went back to the wheel and started to take us back. The sun was starting to set and he wanted to get back to the coast before dark. I started humming Roger Rabbit and Justin heard. He stopped the boat where we were and came back to where I was, he started singing along with me until the song was over. "You have a beautiful singing voice." Justin said smiling. "Thanks, but shouldn't we get back to shore? We do have more stuff planned. And I wanted to go somewhere else with you." Justin nodded and went back to the front. Once we got back to the docks Justin got out and tied up the boat, then came and grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the boat. Once I stepped in the dock I noticed it was slippery, but didn't think much of it. I took another step, still holding onto Justin, and slipped. Being the genius I am, I was near the edge. I fell into the water and Justin got pulled in with me.

"What the fxck Danni!" Justin yelled laughing.

"Maybe we shouldn't go to those places?" I asked, also laughing.

"Yeah. Let's get out of here somehow and just go back to your place?"

"I really want to see kells' reaction!"

"Me too! Let's try to get out then maybe go get food somewhere?" I nodded then Justin pushed me up on the dock then I pulled him up on it too. We walked back to his car and got in.

"where'd you wanna go?" Justin asked me. "Why don't we just go back to my apartment? I have cupcakes hidden from Kell in my room." He nodded his head and we went back.

Once we got back we were still soaked, and Kellin answered the door. "Woah! What happened?!" He asked Justin. "Well fell off of a dock. It's a long story that I'll tell you tomorrow. Right now I'm tired and want food." I said. Kellin told Justin he could borrow some of his clothes and use his shower. Justin went off to Kellins room and I went to mine. I quickly showered and put on a pair of Nike shorts with a Fall Out Boy jumper and walked out to the living room with my box of cupcakes. Justin was already sitting in the couch and was watching Divergent.

"Where's kells at?" I asked. Justin pointed towards his room "he's FaceTimeing katelynne." I handed him a cupcake "thanks". We watched divergent for awhile before falling asleep on the couch witch Justin.
