The Forest of Sorrow

Chapter 3

*Stephanie's pov*
I ran towards the pools with a newfound excitement bubbling from my stomach through my entire body.
Someone is here! Someone is here! Will he try to kill my maybe! But who cares! Me. Of course.
I rolled my eyes Josh doesn't seem like the murderer type. But then what is a murder type? Dark, mysterious, crazy look in his eyes. Yeah that's not the bright blue eyed, shaggy dirty blonde haired boy I just met. I stole a glance over my shoulder to find dark green.
Wait did he leave me? I'll wait a little bit.
           5 minutes later he crashed through the bushes breathing heavily " you " *breath* " run" * breath* " to fast" * breath* "for" *breath* " a girl" I narrowed my eyes " what does a girl run like?" I snapped. Finding his breath he said " well most of the girls at my school run like teady bears."
Whats a teddy bear?
" teddy bear?" " its a stuffed bear" " why would anyone want a stuffed bear?" " you know what? Never mind" i shrugged. " race ya! " " aaaahhhh!" Josh yelled, but i was already gone.
          
Standing on the cold stone edge of the pools i waited for anither long time.
Does it really take this long?
Then Josh came stumbling through tripped and faceplated into the grass that rimms the stone clearing.
This is not funny, this is not funny, this is not....
And i let it loose. Josh looked up from the dirt to see me falling on to the ground laughing. " yeah yeah " . And on and on i laughed replaying it over and over in my head till i couldnt laugh anymore. I blinked away the tears and saw Joshs face like tomatoe. I replayed the fall once more and giggled hysterically. " csn i have a bath now " he said impatiently. " ok " i said really weakly. I took a ciuple of breaths a started to strip my rabbit skin. I looked over my bare shoulder to see Josh staring "what?" " nothing." Josh said with a red blush on his face and looked away. I raised a brow " ok?" then I backed up to the edge of the rocks that hung over the water and dove backwards. When i hit the surface The cold water surrounded me. I swam to the surface and gasped for air and looked up to see Josh staring down at me " what?" I said annoyed " nothing " he said still awe struck. " I suggest not to do what I just did because the water is so cold that it will give you a heart attack if you don't get used to it" I said he nodded. He took off his shirt showing abs , but not rock hard. Like a slenderly built body. He took off his pants to reveal boxer shorts and made his way to the shallow end. I started swimming laps in the pool not even trying to get the grime of my face. To make it simple you cant. I resurfaced to hear a shout " it is SO COLD!!!" I giggled " so ?" I said " SO ?!?!?" Josh shouted with only his toe in the water. I shook my head as I sat on a rock ledge to see him struggle ignoring his cries for help.
       Getting bored i swam around once more. Once I resurface in the shallow end I saw Josh swimming here and there. He resurfaced and said " where do you have soap" " SOAP?" " yeah soap cant forget about the good old soap!" He smiled a winning smile. I looked into his beautiful blue eyes forgetting what I was about to say. Suddenly I cleared my throat saying " you don't want to stay in there for long or your not going to get warm again."  " noooooo! I haven't swam in water for days" "well you can swim in the hot spring if you like." His eyes widened. " I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" i ran.
