It has been quite awhile since you last saw the handsome Italian that captured your heart despite his ever sour personality and honestly you missed him. You missed him so much that your heart hurt every time your gaze landed on the ripe and red fruit that was always near him, or when Antonio dropped by your house one evening to teach you the guitar and Lovino called him. You were in quite the sticky situation.
You were pondering on the thought if tomatoes are fruits then is ketchup a jam? Well I said that in past tense for a reason.
"WATCH IT IDIOTA!" Let me just say your feelings weren't one-sided, he fell for you...hard. The auburn haired Italian was grumbling curses under his breath while picking up the now bruised tomatoes lying across the street. He had dark circles under his eyes which was quite surprising since he was known to...ehem... Sleep in.
"Lovino?" His gaze turned soft as your angelic (or demonic if you like it like that...I don't judge) face came into his view.
"Eh...sorry (y/n) I wasn't watching where I was going." Exception, you were his only....other than his mother, exception. He could dump water on anyone's head and say it was their fault, curse them out, or dump more water on their head, it doesn't matter who it is, it could be his brother or Antonio, even the two German guys Feliciano is always with to the exception of course you....and his mother.
You smiled softly as the man packed the fruit back into the crate and carried on with his job. Same as usual Lovino didn't see what was in front of him. Your thoughts were once again inturupted by the sound of guitar. In the center of the market a large fountain stood where many people liked to rest. You pushed through the crowd forming around the tanned Spanish man as he played.
"Toni?" He smiled up at you his hands strumming at the curved musical instrument. "Chica!" Tears filled your vision as you ran into his already occupied arms. "Oh Toni he hates me!" His guitar found itself away from the two of you as you curled in his arms. "Chica that's not true! Lovi is just...he's confused right now. And I know he likes you very much!" The crowd dispersed slowly, many smiling at what appeared to be a couple. "He...He needs to know you feel the same." Antonio smiled at you and dried your tears. "He goes to the tomato fields during sunset." You jumped out of his arms, Antonio was a good friend who you could always count on. You hugged him once again in thanks and ran towards the tomato fields.
