"I swear its the 5th time this month that I'am having these dreams" I exclaimed to my best friend Tamara before turning to pick up the empty bowls and spoons sprawled across my table. Tamara and I were supposed to be preparing for the math test which was 2 days away but instead we found ourselves hogging on pasta and the dreams I described. "Do you think its a coincedence? The dreams? You've always wanted to become a singer and study music right?Do you think its just your mind trying to play tricks on you?" Tamara suggests and hops off  my bed to retrieve her cell phone from her bag. "I don't know Tam, I don't know.I just feel like there's a message somwhere in this. A message from the universe telling me to hold on to that dream and not let go..to..." I stopped talking as I realized how stupid I sounded right now.Sign? What sign? The universe? Ha..This dream stuff was getting on my nerves and making me crazy I tell myself. "Hey I forgot to ask,how was the date was jasonHe's back isn't he?" Tamara askes me with hopeful eyes."Yes! He's back and our date was fine.Fun.How was your time with...." "Chris? Oh it was fantastic. I've never met a guy like him..we......"I let her rattle on about her date and sigh happly as I managed to change the topic succesfully. My date with jason had been fun but it felt like he was constantly hiding something from me. Something important. Dangerous. After our date,he hadn't even kissed me goodbye like he always did.Just gave me a hug,and before I could let the warmth of his touch near me settle in he withdrawed and with a sad smile stepped into his car. Ofcourse I had tried to contact him after that night, but he didn't pick up his phone nor answer his messages.Ofcourse I was worried, but I didn't want ot seem to clingy and plus it had only been 2 days since our date. That reminded me, "Tams in the dream this girl, kept talking about a guy. A guy who had gifted her a dress and who she was in love with. She was talking about him like he wasn't there anymore but she felt his presence that day,In the concert she heard him and i don't know who he was.How do you explain that?" I asked placing my hands on my hips. "Shea I don't know really. This stuff is just too weird to explain or comprehend. Can we just get on with the math?I know you're dreams are important but we can try being sherlocks after 2 days well." Tamara added with a sarcastic face which made me want to throw a pillow at her.

But she was right. All this was too weird, too unsetteling. I tried to concentrate on the algebra that awaited me with a mocking glance. But somehow the memory of the girl who was waiting for someone to come take her away was etched in my mind.
