At Last

21 Years Later - 3rd POV

Zeek walked around feeling like he was missing something. He was now 21 and able to go to bars. After starting and browsing around and finding no one of interest, he came upon a little shop called "Rose's Will Always Wilt."

Something about that name had him feeling drawn in.

As he walked into the little shop, there were roses all different in color and sizes. However there was only one that stood out to him. It stood wilted in a vase he thought seemed so familiar.

After examining it closely, a man that made him lose his breath walked out from behind the counter.

"That is not for sale." he said walking closer to him.

After examining or checking Zeek out, Zeek asked him if he could have a single red rose.

The man nodded and handed him the rose. As soon as their hand connected a flash of memories flashed through Zeek's eyes making him fall back.

The man caught him and looked intensely into Zeek's eyes.

"Kentaro.." the man whispered.

Zeek looked at him with confusion. "My name is Zeek."

The man nodded, "My name is Alex."

The name reminded him of something, but Zeek couldn't put his finger on it.

After leaving with the flower, Zeek began to visit Alex a lot and eventually started dating him.

Zeek at the age of 26 and Alex at the age 30 got married and adopted a beautiful girl.

Zeek named her Alice and Alex flashed a nervous smile at him.

Falling in love every time they were together, they raise Alice to be a lover not a fighter.

Zeek and Alex stayed together to the very end until they died of old age at the ages 90 and 94.

They are both out lived by their daughter Alice. Or so she thinks.

Kentaro and Alex are reborn time and time again in different generations. There love will always keep them together.
