Chapter 10

I woke up with a killer headache and everything seemed to spin.

I could not, for the life of me, remember what happened last night. All I could remember was Amanda dragging me to Alex's party.

Damn, I thought to myself.

A beeping sound seemed to explode around my apartment startling me up.

What the hell? I thought, and it dawned on me.

Tomorrow's the first of the month.

Shit.

I started to run to my secret hatch, when my door opened and Alex stood in the door way.

"Kentaro.." He said staring at me, "Your eyes."

Shit the phase already started.

I turned away from him, "Stay back Alex." I said trying to hide myself.

Once every first of the month something weird happens to me. My body starts to go into overdrive for sex and on my back wing-like structures grow out with rose petal like feathers.

I never quite understand it myself, but all I know is I can never control myself and I'm very vulnerable.

Alex came closer to me and touched my arm. I almost came at that moment and had to cough in order to hide a moan.

What the hell? I can't be that sensitive right now. I have a full day. I thought as I backed up and tried to hide my little wet stain.

"Alex, stay away from me." I said between clenched teeth.

I was only six feet away from him and already I could feel the heat radiating off of him.

"If it's about yesterday, I-" he started.

"No..." I stopped him, "It's nothing. Please leave."

"I'm sorry." He stated standing his ground and staring intently in my probably already red-green eyes, "But I can't."

He walked over to me and I could feel his breath on my neck, since I was almost a foot taller than him.

I could not move. I was rooted to the ground.

Dear God. I was going to do something I would regret.
