Chapter 4: The Lake

I get dressed and pick Liz up. We pull into a dirt road leading to the lake, I see my parents. Eh. I look at Lizzy as I put my truck in park. "Yup those r my parents" I smile at them. We get out and walk over to them my mom hugs Lizzy like she's her own, "so you must be Liz?" she smiles.

"Yes, yes I am" Liz looks at me like how does she know about me? "where's Clay?" I ask.

"He went to his girlfriends house" mom smiles at me. "my brothers the man" I laugh knowing he's getting some. I look at Liz, "ready to go swimming?" I ask her.

"Sure" Liz smiles at me. I walk a little in the water. turning around holding my hand out my hand for hers so she don't fall. "No I'm fine" she says fast like I was gonna hurt her. I look at her confused, "you alright?" I stare at her. "I'm fine" she looks back at me with an afraid look.

"You don't have to be afraid of me I would never hurt you, I promise" I smile holding my hand back out. She smiles and grabs my hand. We walk out to where we cant feel the ground. We swim till it was night and my parents have left. "Are you ready to go home?" I ask looking at my truck. "No!" she smiles at me, " this is the most fun I've had in forever".

"Oh really?" I ask smiling back. "Well we need to go your parents want you back before dinner" I tell her drying off and hopping in the truck and wait for her.

Liz gets in and I drop her off at we house. I smile at her "I'll see you tomorrow?" I say just inches away from her face.

She notices and and quickly gets out "yeah. I'll see you" she smiles and shuts my door walking inside

I watch her walk inside then drive back home. I walk inside and both of my parents stare at me. "What?" I ask

"Did you at least use a condom?" My step dad asked and I roll my eyes.

"You should be asking Clay that" I chuckle "I'm not like him" I point out walking upstairs and go to shower. Once I get out my phone vibrates and I see a text.

Liz: hey, it's Liz. I got your number when you were swimming and I was resting on shore. I had a lot of fun tonight and was wondering if you'd like to stay the night while my parents are gone.
                              ***
I think for a moment then reply

Me: yeah sure, why not my parents won't care

Liz: awesome sooo see you tomorrow night

Me: yeah, goodnight.

Liz: night
                                  ***
I fall asleep
