Curse Of Leo Valdez{Leo's Memories}

~Chapter 3->Tia Callida,part 1~

Third Person's POV

"Now,let's go see my memories so I can see all of you again."-Leo said.
His voice was bitter and that made people wonder why he would not share his memories.

"Drink this."-Apollo said-"It will put you in sleep,but you'll be aware of everything.You'll be able to told us about any memory,you just need to think what you wanna say.Will see memories on this screen and you'll see them inside your minde.Are you ready?"

"No."-he said-"Let's do it."
Leo drink the liquid and fall asleep.
On screen,first memorie started.

Esperanza was lying in hospital bed.She was holding a baby in her arms.Baby was sleeping.Next to her,was an old man.
"Padre, abuelo que son ahora."*
Man was crying tears of joy.
"What will be his name?"
"Leo."
"Leo,my first nieto.**"-he kissed baby on forehad-"I wish you long and happy life."

He died couple months after this,one month after Sammy.

Esperanza started crying,remembering her father and grandfather.Scene changed.

Two years old Leo was playing with tools.He was cheving pincers.

This made everyone smile.

"Hijo,that is not for playing."-Esperanza said and picked him up.
"Let's go home."-she said.She was caring Leo,who was now asleep on her shoulders.
"Esperanza?"
"Yes,Mr.Rodriguez?"
"No matter how we all like your boy,you can't bring him on work any more.It's not safe for him.Do you understand?"
"Yes,Mr.Rodriguez."
Esperanza was now home.Leo was still sleeping on her shoulders.Knocking started.Esperanza opened door.On door,was her sister,Rosa.
"What do you want?"-Esperanza asked,angry.
"Just cheking on my dear sister."-she said in fake caring voice-"You know,you could do better than this."
"If you are going to have a talk about how MY child is causing this problems and how I should give him away you can go.Now."
"Just think about it.If you didn't decided to keep him,you could finish some school,get nice job,meet some good guy and marry him.But no,you choose to keep that diablo,and he is now ruining your life."
"Goodbye."-Esperanza said and close the door.She heard Rosa yelling something,but she didn't care.
"Don't listen her,hijo.She is just jelaus.Don't ever let her ruin you.Don't belive what she says.That are lies.You are the best thing that happened to me."-she said and kissed Leo.She put him in his bed when she heard another knock on her doors.
She opened doors.At the doors was standing woman with black hair and dark eyes.She was wearing green drees with flowers on it.
"Who are you and what you want?"
"What,I can't visit my grandchild?"
Esperanza looked shocked,but then she realised.
"Hera?"
"It's me."
"What are you doing here?"
"I heard you need somebody to babysit Leo.I'll do it."
"What is the catch?"
"There is no one."
Esperanza looked her with I-don't belive-you look.
"You know your child is fire user.That is way you can leave him to any regular mortal.I could watch him and teach him control."
"He is 2."
"It's never to early to start learning."

Athena nodded at this.

"No."
"I promise you,he won't get hurt.I promise,I'll take good care of him.And you have no other choice."
Esperanza knew she had a point.
"....Okay."
"Great!See you tomorrow."-with that,she disappeared.Esperanza closed the door and came to Leo.
"Te amo hijo.Te amo.***"
"You también te quiero,mamá.****"-Leo said,half sleeping.

Esperanza kissed her son's forehad.
Scene changed.

Hera was wearing same outfit she wore while she was talking with Esperanza.She was holding Leo in her hands.
"You know what is fire little one?"
When she said fire,boy stop playing with his toy and stared at her.
"Fire is good.But when you use it,you need to be careful.Do you understand?"
"Sí."
"You can made fire,can't you?"
Leo reached out his palm.He sticked out his tounge.He looked like he is concetraiting.Then,fire started dancing on his palm.
"That is beautiful,little one.I'll teach you control fire and much more.Do you wanna learn?"
"Sí."
"Good.Let's start."
After some time,just before Esperanza came back.
Hera sang lullaby while Leo slept in her arms.When she was sure Leo is in strong sleep she came near fire place.She slowly put Leo in.

More voices screamed on this.Esperanza started yelling at Hera.Hera pretended thaz she can't hear her.

Leo didn't seemed to be bothered by fire.He just shifted into more comfortable position and continue sleeping.
"You are the one,young hero."-Hera said and took him out the fire place.
Esperanza came in couple minutes later.She took Leo in her arms.She put him to sleep.
"Thank you."-she said to Hera.
"Don't worry,it wasn't big deal.He'll be a great hero one day."-with that,Hera disappeared.

Scene changed.

Hera was walking in forest with Leo.He looked like he is four years old.
"Where were you?You were gone for one month."-Leo asked while jumping from stone to stone.
"I needed to watch over my husband's son."
"So you train him too?"
"Kind of."
"So he can also do things with fire?"
"No,he can't.You are the only one who can do it,mi héroe."
"Cool.So what he can do?"
"Nothing special."

Zeus looked very angry on his wife.

"Okay.What's his name?"
"Jason."

Jason blushed on this.

"Pretty name."
"Here we are."-she showed a tree that was cut off.
"Today,we'll try something new.You put your hands in this wood,but don't let fire expand.Concetrate so your fire just burned the part where are your hands touching tree."
"Where is she?"-Leo asked.He didn't seemed to notice what Hera was saying.
"Who?"
"Ginny."
"Who?"
"She is my friend.She lived on this tree.Her skin was light green,she said that is beacuse she is sick.She had blue eyes and green hair,like grass green."

She was my first real friend.

Hera looked at him.She knew,based on her description,that Ginny was dryad.She also knew that she died,because her tree is cuted down.
"She moved to another tree.This one was too old for her."
"Will she come back?"
"I don't know."
Leo looked sad.
"You know what?We will plant new tree here.When tree becomes big,she'll come back to live on him."
Leo looked really happy with this.
"When?"
"Now.Wait here."
Leo waited.Ge started building a castle out of rocks.After couple minutes,Hera came back with small stem of pine tree.
"Are you ready?"
Leo nodded.He was excited and that was obvious.He and Hera started digging hole.After that,they planted tree.
"How long will took tree to grow up so Ginny can come back?"
"Couple years.Now,let's go home.Your mother will get back home soon.We don't want her to worry,do we?"
Leo shooked with his head.
"What about training?"
"We'll train tomorrow."
She tool Leo's hand and they went home.

I'll try not to make this regular book with some usual memories.
I have some new ideas about metting Chris,Grover,Nico,Hades....but it will take some time to get to them...
