By the way, if you think the story is going super fast, you're actually wrong. It's still gonna be, like, ten chapters until they finally even become best friends. So this story is actually slow as fuck.

"Thanks for walking me home, Anjelica." I knocked on my door.

"Uhm, don't you have a key or something?"

"Nope. Told you, my parents hate me. They don't trust me with anything."

"So what's worse? Having no parents or having parents that hate you?"

"That's hard."

"They're both the worst. But, hey. We've made it."

I banged on the door until my little sister finally answered the door.

"Hey, I'm sorry. Mom and dad went out."

I rolled my eyes.

"Of course," I said. "Hey, Anjelica, you wanna come in for a bit?"

"Oh I can't, my sister's probably worrying about me. See ya tomorrow." She turned around and walked.

"Is she your girlfriend?" Liliana randomly asked, while hanging out my room.

"Hell no. We're just barely friends. I kicked her in the stomach and she can barely even remember my name. If you call that a relationship, then we need to talk."

"I thought you weren't supposed to cuss in front of me."

"Sorry. But you don't know that many right?"

"You bet the fuck I do."

I face palmed.

I wished she would listen to me, just like I wish my parents would listen to me.

If they just saw what I said as...I don't know....gold, they would listen. But, my words are as worthless as fools gold.
