ALEXA'S POV
I just got done packing my bags to leave all because of my dumb dad who got a dumb job in Ireland. The only good side is that I've always wanted to see Ireland. "LEXI," my dad calls. "Coming!," I scream annoyed. I dragged my bags down the stairs. When I walked out of the house, a huge moving van stood at the driveway.
I felt the lump in my throat as I looked at my house. All the memories of my childhood flood into my brain and I can't help but cry. A tear rolls down my cheek. I hear the door open and immediately wipe the tear as my brother walks out the front door. Why do we have to move? Why me? I can't help but think I'm the only one feeling this way.
I roll my suitcase to the limo next to the moving van. Once I open the door I smile as our driver looks back at me. " Hey there Lexi!," John says. John's been our driver since I was 8. "Hi.," I replied sadly. "Aww, don't be sad. Just make sure you visit soon, okay? Oh, and call me if you ever need anything... or if you just need to talk of course.," he said sympathetically. "Don't worry, I got you on speed dial.," I joked. He laughed and frowned. "I'm sure gonna miss you.," John replied. "Not as much as I will," I chuckled. "Not possible!," he laughed. I smiled and put my bag in the car. Once I shut the door I ran back in the house and took pictures of every single room. I can't believe I almost forgot! There was no way I'd go to Ireland without taking pictures of our house! I ran upstairs and took a picture of my room, my brother's room, and the computer room. I walked out of the computer room and started walking down to the last room. My dad's. Of course it was both my parents' room, but not now.
I slowly opened the door. My eyes started to water as I imagined my mom and I on the bed. It was the day I scraped my knee outside. I was crying but my mom calmed me down and brought me upstairs. I felt a tear roll down my cheek the second time today.
"Ready Lexi?," someone said behind me.
