Niall's P.O.V.

After watching Lexi eat a huge plate of food, which was almost as big as mine, I decided that we would go to the skating rink now, even if it hasn't opened yet. I would somehow manage to get us in.

"You ready to go?", I ask her.

"Yeah totally! But do you think I should roller skate in these?" She was wearing skintight jeans with really sequined top, with a grey t-shirt. Nothing too fancy but none the less really cute.

"You might want to change the pants"' I say laughing. "But you'll definitely have to wear them a different time. They look good on you."

I see her blush and I laugh. I grab her hand and wave goodbye to my mum, who gives me a wink.

Rolling my eyes we drive to the rink.

"They're open this early?", she asks me.

"No idea, but I'm sure I can get us in if they're not."

"What if there's no one here?"

"You ask lots of questions don't you?" I say laughing as she nods her head.

I start the car.

"And you do know it's not that early, right?", I say checking the time and pulling out of the driveway. "It's almost 10:30."

"That's early for me! I'm definitely not a morning person."

"Neither am I."

"How much longer till we're there?", she whines.

"A few minutes, be patient."

"But it's so boring!!!"

"But it's so boring!!" I reply mimicking her tone. She shoots me a glare and I stick my tongue out at her.

"We're here!", I announce.

"Finally! That took forever!"

"That was only a ten minute drive."

"Whatever. Forever, ten minutes, they're the same thing."

Gosh, she can be so sassy sometimes. Rolling my eyes at her just gets her more agitated.

I grab her hand and pull her towards the door.

Lexi's P.O.V.

Suddenly, Niall stops dead in his tracks. I can see him listening and looking around the street.

He had parked at the opposite end of the street so we can enjoy the clear blue skies and crisp weather, and just walk and talk together.

I start listening too. We are standing next to a hardware store, only about three minutes away from the rink.

Then, I hear it.

How did they know he was here, so quickly?

He grabs my hand and we start walking at a brisk pace towards the rollerblading building that seems so close yet so far now.

So much for a relaxing walk through the streets. Seconds later screaming fans are everywhere, paparazzi are taking pictures, news reporters are asking questions about the mystery girl, and I'm close to hysterics.

We push our way through the crowd until we get to the front.

Then we start running and running and running until we get to the rink. Niall slams the door shut behind us and I am thankful to see an employee come and lock it up.

Niall gives him a nod then goes to sit down in a chair head in his hands.

He looks up at me with a wide grin.

"What's so funny?", I ask.

""Just that our peaceful morning walk turned into a run for our lives from mobs of fans.. nothing too big."

I laugh and pull him up.

"Let's go rollerskating".

Niall's P.O.V.

She's a natural on skates. She told me that she's taken lessons before and I believe it. She spins around me with agile grace, while I have a hard time staying upright.

But, small miracles do happen, and I managed to catch a few pointers from her and actually be able to stay in my feet for more than ten seconds.

I'm just glad we didn't go ice skating.

That would have been a mess.

"So how long did you take roller blading lessons for? Because I just might need to take some too. Maybe we could take some together?"

"I took them around five years. So have fun catching up with me! And if we did take lessons, we wouldn't be able to take them together, because you would be in a few lower classes than me." She winks at me, then goes around me in another circle.

I groan.

"How long have we been here?", I ask.

"About twenty minutes. Do you want to leave?"

"No, I'm just starting to get sore."

She rolls her eyes and rolls over to the door of the rink.

"C'mon, want to go to lunch with me?"

I nod and try the best that I can to roll over like she did.

I can tell I didn't do very well because she is barely containing a laugh.

I ignore her ad try the best I can to step out.

I almost end up toppling over but steady myself.

"So about that lunch?", I say as she bursts out in laughter.

Forgetting that I have blades on for a moment, I attempt to walk over by her ,but trip over myself and slip backwards onto my back.

My foot catches hers, and I have just enough time to throw out an arm from my position on the ground, so her head lands safely in the crook of my elbow.

"That was close." She laughs. "A little too close."

She stands up an pulls me up with her.

"Now let's go eat."
