Luhan felt a ton of weight is chained on his eyelids. He try harder and succeed at the third time. He slowly open his eyes and adjust his sight to the brightness of the room.

"Hyung? You are awake!" Tao being a very best friend of Luhan, stay all the time at the hospital, waiting for Luhan.

"Ugh, wh- where am i?" Luhan try to sit up but the pain strike all over his body.

"Hyung, don't. I'll call the doctor okay?"

"Tao, how is Sehun?" Luhan said with a weak voice earning a glare from Tao.

"Don't ask about him hyung. You've been hospitalized for 3 days! 3 days hyung! But he never show his face here."

"Hyung..." Tao's voice soften when he saw Luhan's sadden face.

Suddenly, Tao's phone ring. He read the text and frown.

"Hyung, i gotta go. Kris hyung is nagging since i took 3 days off and he's been busy all alone. But if you need me here, i can just..."

"No, Tao. I'm fine. Just go to work okay? Tell Kris my greeting." Luhan smiled softly.

"Are you sure, hyung?"

Luhan nodded. "Besides there are nurses here. I'll be fine."

"Okay then. I'll come after my job is done." Tao said as he gather his stuffs

"Take your time Tao, be careful, okay?"

"I will hyung, just rest. Bye hyung!" Tao waved and left.

Luhan let out a sigh. He can't hide his dissapointment. He really wants Sehun to be by his side. He wish that Sehun is the first person he saw when he woke up earlier. But Luhan hopes was to high.

I'm the son of his parents murderer after all... Luhan's thought and slowly closing his eyes, drifted to sleep.

Sehun lean back on his chair, thinking about Luhan. It's been 3 days since that incident and Sehun never come to the hospital. He doesn't have the guts to face Luhan. Luhan still protected him despite the harsh words Sehun said to him.

Sehun snap back to reality when his phone ringing. A text from an unknown number.

you better get your ass to hospital now and take a good care of Luhan hyung or else i will hunt you down by myself.

Sehun found himself rushing out from his office and quickly drove to the hospital, not because he's afraid that someone with HZT initial would hunt him down but he really needs to see Luhan right now.

And here he is, standing in front of Luhan's room, panting heavily after running from the park lot. Sehun try to organize his breathing first and slowly turn the door knob.

The room is dimmed, but Sehun can clearly saw Luhan's figure on the hospital bed. Sehun walk closer and sit himself on the chair beside Luhan. Sehun's felt his chest tighten when he see Luhan's face covered with bruises.

Sehun brought his hand to move the fringe on Luhan's forehead. His touch was really gentle and soft because he doesn't want to wake Luhan. But being a light sleeper, Luhan flinch when he felt a hand touching his hair and that made Sehun pulled back his hand.

Luhan slowly open his eyes and saw Sehun with tears brimming in his eyes.

"Sehun...you are here." Luhan said with a sleepy voice, eyes half opened but it didn't made him stop smiling.

"Why? Why did you do that?" Sehun voice crack as he sob.

"Sehun-ah, please don't cry." Luhan lift his hand to reach Sehun's face and used his thumb to wiped the tears. Sehun cry just getting louder and harder.

"Yo- you know that it's dang- dangerous." Sehun continued to sob and more tears fell down but Luhan's thumb quickly wiped the tears.

"I know Sehun-ah..."

"Then why did you still do it?? Why don't you just let me beaten up by those men?? You could've been killed! Why, Luhan why?? You want to left me again and let me suffer alone after losing you??"

Luhan slowly sit up, ignoring the pain on his stomach and reach out for Sehun's hands.

"I can bare those harsh words, i can bare all the jealousy from the people out there but i can't bare to lose you, hyung. I- i can't bare the pain anymore. I can't bare to suffer alone." Sehun continue to cry out his heart. He tired from pretending. Pretending to be strong, pretending to be okay.

Sehun felt really weak when a pair of arms pulling him into a warm embrace. Sehun rest his head on Luhan's shoulder, sobbing like a little kid, when Luhan's hand gently carressed Sehun's back, mentally hissed because the pain caused by his movements but it didn't stop him to comfort Sehun.

"Cry it out. Let it out, all of it Sehun." Luhan continuously carressed Sehun's back until the sob become less frequent and Sehun was the first to break the hug. He use the back of his hand to wipe the remain tears.

"Who is the patient here now." Luhan try to joke which is a success when he heard a little chuckle escaped from the younger's lips.

"See, you look handsome when you smile like that." A smile appear once again at Luhan's pale face.

"Hyung, you won't leave me again right? Please don't leave ever again." Sehun plead with his innocent eyes staring at Luhan's eyes.

"I won't leave you Sehun-ah. Even there are a lot of people who want to seperate us, even if you push me away, i still won't leave you. I won't let you suffer alone again. I'll protect you from anything."

Sehun being an innocent kid in Luhan's eyes, stuck out his finger.

"Promise?"

"Promise!"

Luhan locks his finger with Sehun's and do the pinky promise.

After that, they keep staring at each other and the older just smiling when the younger whinning, insisting to stay by the older side and Luhan can't resist those pouty lips of Sehun.

"Just rest, hyung." Sehun keep staring at Luhan's face, both hands rested on his chins.

"And how can i sleep when you are staring me like that, Sehun-ah. Come here." Sehun pout but do as he told and lean closer to the older to recieve a warm good night kiss on his forehead.

"You should rest too."

Sehun felt the warm of Luhan's lips spread through his body and a big smile plastered on his face. He slowly lean closer and returning back the kiss on Luhan's forehead.

"Good night, Lu-hyung."

"Good night, Sehun-ah."

With that they both fall asleep, holding each other hand tightly...
