Lucas.....Lucas......why does that name sound so familiar?

"Hey Violet, wanna sit with us?" Lucas asked. It was lunch time and I was looking for a place to sit.

"Sure," I said.

 "So...tell me about yourselves,"

"My name is Riley Matthews. Maya and I made up an imaginary land called 'Rileytown.' It's pretty much a place where my personalities are," Riley said.

"I'm Farkle Minkus. I always tell you what's on my mind. I think your pretty. My ladies are Riley and Maya...Got that, Lucas?!?" Farkle said.

Lucas looked scared. I giggled.

"My name is Lucas as you know. I'm from Austin, Texas and I went to Broadway Intermediate. Where did you go?" Lucas asked.

"I'm a bulldog too! (Bulldogs are the mascot. I don't rly know but just go with it :] ) I went to Broadway. My favorite thing back in Texas was the rodeo. I remember one year...." I couldn't even continue. It was him. His younger self and now flashed in my head. Lucas Friar, the kid who rode Judy.

I stood up in shock. "I have to go." I ran out of the cafeteria and into the bathroom. I threw up. A few minutes later Riley and Maya came in. "Violet are you OK?" Riley asked. "Yep. Just peachy!" I said.

"What's really going on?" Maya asked. I told Riley it was about Lucas and Maya. She sank to the ground. As we walked out, Lucas and Farkle were waiting for us.

"Violet? What's going on?" Lucas asked.

"Nothing." I answered. "It's just...I miss Texas. That's all,"

"Oh. If you say so,"

We paused.

"Where were you, nine years ago?" I asked.

"Um..that would make me five. I was at a rodeo riding a sheep." He said.

 "Huckleberry," Maya teased.

"Maya where were you, nine years ago?" I asked.

"Um, at a rodeo, I think. Dad loved them," She said.

"Lucas your grandpas nickname is Friar?"

"Yep,"

"Oh my gosh. Lucas, you didn't come here on accident; you came here because Maya's your future wife!"

"O-M-G!" Riley gasped.
