Violet Meets Past Part 2

I stood by the bed, frozen in my tracks. I didn't know what else to do but run.

"Where am I?" Lucas asked.

"After you fell off...you were hurt really bad and had to be taken to the hospital." I replied.

"Where am I hurt?"

"You broke your arm, a rib and you twisted your ankle."

"Yikes."

"I know."

"May I ask you something?"

"Sure Lucas. You can ask me anything."

"Who are you?"

I stood by the bed, frozen in my tracks. I didn't know what else to do but run.

"Violet! Violet there you are! I've been looking for you everywhere!" Riley said as she ran towards the park bench I was sitting on.

"Hey, Riley."

"What's wrong Violet? Have you seen Lucas yet?"

I didn't reply.

"Violet what's wrong?"

"I don't want to talk about it!"

"Violet?"

I started to cry. Riley soon hugged me.

"He doesn't remember."

"Remember what? Riding the bull?"

"No. He doesn't remember me." I started crying again.

"Oh. My. Gosh. This is bad, this is very bad."

"Why is it very bad?"

"Before you came here, he was in love with Maya."

"Wait. What are you saying?"

"He thinks he's in love with Maya."

I ran to the hospital room to try to make Lucas remember me, but I was too late. Maya was already there.

"Hey Lucas." She said.

"Hey Maya." He replied smiling.

"I'm glad you're ok, I thought you were going to lose your memory."

"Well, supposedly I was on a bull, but I don't remember that."

"Oh. Well that's not too bad. I can tell you all about it later."

"Ok. Maya?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for coming to see me. It means a lot to me."

"Of course, I'd do anything for you."

"So would I."
