It was a gorgeous spring day in Africa the flowers were blooming the bees were buzzing, the woman sang there songs, the children played in the village and everything seemed perfect. All of a sudden, a streaking  noise rose through the camp, it was no noise of fear it was a noise of joy, the joy, of a new born child, the daughter of the tribes fearless leader Maike , Maike was  known for his strength and wisdom,  he was a brave sole who had saved many people from the clutches of slavery.
People started to gather around the tent, Maike walked outside the small hut smiling at the bundle in his arms. His soft gray eyes not looking away from the child inside . " today I am a father " yelled koosa kala in his native tongue " this is my daughter koona kala" he lifted up the child the people cheered for the child of Maike had arrived. With great luck to, for his wife Likeya had been ill for many moons. It started when her son Bootu was born, she would throw up constantly and many days be stuck inside with a fever, and ever since she had become pregnant with Koosa Kala she had grown worse. But now that the child was born and the people believed she would get better. That was until a woman came from the tent with tears in her eyes the crowd stopped there cheers " you must come with me " said the woman in a shaky voice. Maike  followed the teary eyed woman into the tent. He handed the baby to the woman who had led him in. He looked across the small room, there were 4 woman in the tent with him, all of which were crying  around Likeya. Maike bent down on his knees " Likeya " he said as his eyes weld up with tears " Likeya, wake up, wake up Likeya" the tears rolled  down his cheeks on to his wife's dark skin, her dark curly hair still smelled of flowers, her once bright green eyes were closed, her ever loving smile seemed to have faded away.
That night the village mourned for the loss of Likeya wife.

It was not long after that Maike died leaving 18 year old Bootu to lead the camp.
